Spaw sat in her room, looking around with her head laying off of her bed. She felt like all the blood was rushing to her head, but she didn't care. She was just so depressed and she wasn't sure why she was feeling this down. She wasn't even working on a Starship yet. She was just along for the ride.

"Was does this mean for us," asked Skull as he began to pace right in front of Spaw.

Spaw sighed loudly as she rolled onto her underbelly with her paws leaning forward. "I don't know for me. You, it'll be easy. You're always going to be a healer and always going to be needed. But, it's my parents that I'm worried about. I don't know about them."

"We'll figure it out," reassured Trek as he leaned forward, touching his nose to Spaw's ear.

Spaw smiled a bit as she wagged her tail. "You always say that," she groaned as she arched her back in a massive stretch.

Trek's eyes gleamed. "And I'm always right," he pointed out as he waltzed up to her, nudging her as an invitation to play.

She took it without thinking. She leaped from her position on the bed and tackled Trek. Trek laughed like a maniac before he threw his entire weight into her and tried to force her onto the ground. He growled softly in her ear.

"You'll never break me, Klingon," he roared as he pummeled his paws against Spaw's chest; just like Akaylar had taught them how to fight.

Spaw sunk her teeth into one of his paws and thrust her side. Trek gasped in surprise as he was knocked sideways before Spaw pinned her expertly under her.

"Ha, should have been watching," she breathed in his ear before there was a knock at the door.

Spaw rushed to untangle herself from Trek as Skull tended to the door. He opened it as Galaxy walked in. Spaw hadn't seen her mother in a few days and she knew that it was probably best just to let her mother be. Akaylar had been comforting her to the best of his ability, but when Galaxy wanted to be alone, she wanted to be alone. However, her mother had made the comment that being on the Enterprise again had probably saved their marriage. Spaw didn't want them to lose that.

"Spaw," barked Galaxy in a sort of wheeze.

Spaw pulled herself the remaining of the way from Trek as Trek rose to his paws, shaking his fur to clear the fur from his eyes. "Yes, mother."

"I need to speak to you in private," she barked with a cautious look to Skull and Trek.

Skull nudged Trek away and they headed to their room, closing the door behind them so that Spaw and Galaxy could have some much needed privacy.

Galaxy urged her daughter over and Spaw dragged her paws forward. She sat down before Galaxy drew her near with her feathered wings. She had used to do this when Galaxy was a very young pup, but she was older now and she didn't need her mother to coddle her anymore.

"I know that this is hard for you, little one. But, you don't have to be worried. We'll get through this," she whispered in her daughter's ear.

Spaw brightened. "I know that, mother. I'm not afraid," she lied with her chest puffing out in pride.

Galaxy laughed lightly as she licked her daughter between the ears as she shrunk back to her normal size. "I know that, Spaw. I know. So, if you're older now do you think that you can help me out with something?"

"Anything," breathed Spaw in wonder.

"Good," grunted Galaxy as she rose to her paws and gingerly pawed at the ground. "Follow me. We have something that we have to do."

Spaw looked over her shoulder at her friends (since she knew that they were listening in) before she jumped back. Whatever this is, this is important. My mother needs me!
