There was a loud knocking on the door. Both Tevis and Agony groaned when they heard Cayde's voice.
"Guys? Anyone home? You two doing the do? Should I go?"
"Go open the door." Agony yawned
"It's your turn to open the door. When the sun is up he's my problem, when it's still dark out, he's your problem." Tevis said as he put his pillow over his head. Agony sighed as she got out of bed an opened the door.
"Yes Cayde darling?" Agony said holding back a yawn.
"Nice underwear." Cayde greeted
"What my bra doesn't look nice either?"
"Hot pink isn't your color."
"Rude. What do you want Cayde?"
"We need to talk about our next course of action."
"Alright, let me put on some clothes." Agony said as she walked over to her closet and rummaged around putting on a black hoodie and some blue sweatpants.
"Hey Tevis. You get lucky last night?" Cayde teased. Tevis threw his pillow at Cayde who ran down the hall.
"See you tonight Tevis." Agony said
"Can't, going hunting."
"Really? What about the Ramen place you were going to take me? You're always bragging about it."
"When I get back."
"Fine." Agony sighed as she walked out of the room closing the door behind her. Agony walked over to Cayde and listened while he explained his plan. The plan went as follows, go to his secret stash, find the cloaking devices, infiltrate the Dreadnaught. Of course Agony knew everything looked easier on paper than it did in action, but decided not to say anything, Ikora wanted to analyze these... things... and Zavala wanted to stay far away from it. Agony knew Cayde's plan was their best shot. Agony and Cayde walked out onto the Tower Watch and stared down at the city below, then looked to the horizon as the sun began to rise painting the sky orange and pink. Agony glanced over at Cayde and saw the determination in his eyes, the care free hunter was just a front for the others, to show there was still hope, still joy, still a child-like innocence in the world. However, deep down Cayde was still a hunter, he was still a warrior.
The world could use more Cayde's. Agony thought as the Tower began to stir with life.
"I'll go get Roach." Cayde said breaking the silence, "fill him in." Agony nodded as the two went their separate ways.
By the time Roach was ready to go the Vanguard was up, a thing Cayde was trying to avoid. Ikora noticed Agony and Roach walked to the hanger and signaled them over. Agony leaned in close to Roach and whispered
"Time to bullshit our way through this." Roach gave a slight nod as they stood before Ikora.
"And where are you two going this fine morning?" Ikora inquired.
"Hunting." Roach replied
"Hunting what?" Ikora followed up with another question.
"To understand your enemy takes patience and time, along with actual combat. Taken have been appearing all over, including the Cosmodrome." Agony said before Roach could open his mouth. Ikora nodded in agreement
"Carry on." Ikora said as she waved them away. Roach and Agony walked to their ships and made their way to an area known as The Blast in old Russia. Once they landed it was a clear shot to an old building, save for the taken and awoken scattering the path before them.
