Tenebra floated over to Cayde, "He's not dead, there's still some light in him. If we hurry and get him back to the Tower maybe we can save him!"

"Scotty, go look for his ghost." Roach ordered. Tenebra and Scotty began to search the area. Roach and Agony turned around when they heard coughing. Tevis took his helmet off, Agony was by his side instantly, gently placing his head on her lap.

"What a beautiful angel. Have you come to take me home?" Tevis asked as the black goop covering his body faded away.

"I wish..." Tevis placed his hand on Agony's helmet, "Tevis, how are you doing this?"

"Maybe the Traveler is granting me my last wish. Agony i'm sorry it ended like this. I wish I could change things."

"Me too Tevis."

"I wish I could give you a kiss." Tevis said as Agony began to lean closer to him

"Hey, what about me?" Roach asked, ruining the moment.

"Do you want one? I'll give it to you. Hurry up I don't have much time." Tevis said as he smirked at Roach. Roach began to take his helmet off

"Roach don't!" Agony yelled

"What? I don't need air, I don't have lungs. The helmet is just to protect my head." Roach knelt down next to Tevis, "how about that kiss?" Tevis leaned up and kissed Roach, then laid his head back down on Agony's lap.

"Well on the bright side, I got to kiss someone before I died." Tevis sighed, Agony laughed and held his hand, "move on, okay?"

"I will." Agony and Roach sat with Tevis until he closed his eyes, never to open them again.

Roach and Agony returned to the Tower. Agony carrying Tevis' corpse, and Roach carrying Cayde. Cayde and his ghost were taken to the infirmary.

Cayde woke up with a splitting headache, when he looked around, he saw Roach asleep in a chair, and Agony sleeping on his lap, her head resting on the bed.

"They've been waiting for days." Shiro said, "I didn't think you'd ever come back to use Cayde."

"I didn't think I'd come back either." Cayde confessed

"I'll leave you three alone." Shiro said as he left. Cayde gently shook Agony awake. Agony yawned and rubbed her eyes, when she saw Cayde her eyes began to water.

"It's okay Agony, i'm back." Agony hugged Cayde and began to cry. Roach woke up and stared at Agony and Cayde

"Well aren't you two cute." Roach told Cayde what happened as Agony calmed down.

"Wait, Tevis kissed you? YOU Roach." Cayde said bewildered.

"Yup, speaking of which, hey Agony." Agony turned around to face Roach

"Yes?" Roach leaned in and kissed Agony

"Now before you hurt me, technically since Tevis kissed me this is a kiss from him!" Roach blurted out quickly as Agony raised her fist.

"You know, the logic is sound. It's an indirect kiss." Cayde commented. Agony wanted tot be mad, but in her tired state the logic was sound.

That night, Tevis' funeral was held. They burnt his body, fired their guns, and stood in silence as the fire burned. After the fire had died, Agony stood in front of the crowd.

"In Greek Mythology, a Hydra is a creature where if you cut off its head, two more take its place. If you cut off our head, two more will take it's place. If you break our heart, we will show no mercy. We saw what Oryx could do to guardians. Don't let your emotions rule you, Oryx will take advantage of that. Stick together, protect each other, and lets go kill this fucker."
