Noiz/Reader-How Far Will I Go For You?

--Your POV--

"Let go of him!" I shouted, stopping both Toue and Noiz mid-swing. Oh shit...what did I just do...Toue glared at me angrily, dropping the injured Noiz to the floor as Noiz grunted from the impact and lay motionless on the concrete. My heart began to pound as I realized how much danger I had just put myself in, but I somehow remained confident, and calmed my beating heart. Toue drew his weapon and aimed the blade at me, hate burning within his eyes as they glared at me. I suddenly heard pounding behind me, and I knew Aoba was pounding on the barrier that separated us from them, but for the first time, I paid no mind. I drew my Scythe, pressing the button on the side of it as it unfolded, and I held it over my head as Toue rushed at me, and I used my weapon as a defense shield, blocking his attack as he flew backwards and landed on his feet.

The fighting went on for a long time, but I suddenly faltered, losing my focus as Toue took the opportunity to strike. His blade cut through the flesh of my stomach, ripping it open as I screeched in pain and fell onto my knees. I managed to slide out of the way of Toues next attack, but I knew that I wasnt going to last forever. I was losing focus, and I knew it, but I had no time to resist, as Toue launched a deadly attack at me, and I had no time to evade, as I was thrown backwards, and hit the barrier; I heard Ashley screech in horror, as a sickening crack sounded from somewhere in my body, but I had no time to check and see what was broken. I forced myself to stand, and drew my scythe once more, though I knew it might be the last time I would ever hold it. I met Noiz's eyes, his filled with pain. He couldnt move, and I had no choice but to fight. I prepared for Toues devastating attack, but it never came. I opened my eyes, and realized Noiz had gotten up from the pavement, and was strangling Toue by the neck, holding tight to him as Toue tried to force him off. But Noiz was not relenting. I took the opportunity, and picked up my scythe once more, throwing it as hard as I could straight at Toue, as Noiz let go and fell to the ground, missing the scythe by inches. My weapon lodged itself in Toues chest, as he fell to the ground and bled out in minutes. My head began to pound, as I fell to the ground in a heap, trying to get the pulsing pain in my head to stop, but with no success, no matter what I did. Tears strung my eyes as the pain worsened, and soft cries left my throat. I held my head, then began to pound it against the pavement to try and distract myself from the pain. But I heard someone call my name, and I weakly looked up to meet Desi's tear filled eyes.

"Stop it!!" She was crying. "You'll make it worse!" My thoughts were nothing to me, as the pain became so bad that I just lay against the pavement, tears spilling from my eyes as I began to sob from the pain. I suddenly felt familiar arms around me, pulling me close in an embrace.

"Noiz," I whispered, and I felt something soft against my head, distracting me from the pain for a moment. His lips? I struggled to turn and look at him, but my head refused to move. I closed my eyes, making my vision black instead of blurry. All noises and sounds blurred together in my brain, sending me into some kind of opposite consciousness. Did I accidentally call my ability? Was it flaring up now of all times? Stop it! Stop it!!

I forced my eyes open, to be in another world, one of my old memories. I was looking at myself, and I was sitting next to Noiz, cuddling against him in a protective state. I watched as I spiraled downwards over a course of a year, my abilities quitting on me, and my behavior changing in ways that I became darker, malicious. I had tried so hard to keep him away from my life, to protect him from the same fate as Jennifer and Lia, but he insisted on following me, saying if we were going to stay together, he was going to die with me. I loved him, I really did. I do love him

Suddenly, a sharp, pulsing pain flooded my head again, and it felt as if my head was being ripped apart. My eyes flew open to the real world, as I screamed in pain, trying to writhe away with no prevail. The pain pulsed again, and I screamed once more, and someone frantically pulled their blood-stained hands away from me. I realized Desi was trying to close a wound on my head, but it hurt...She touched my face, tears in her eyes as I realized everyone else was crowded around me, Noiz still holding me gently. That was the last thing I remembered before I blacked out completely.
