I heard annoying beeping sound, but couldn't seem to figure out what it was, my alarm clock maybe? Nah that was usually set on a song. I blinked my eyelids that where heavy and took a few slow blinks before I could keep them open. My mouth tasted nasty and was dry, like the Sahara, my head hurt my left arm felt heavy and my side burned. I tried to sit up, but groaned when I failed.
"She's awake." Was all I heard, but I didn't know who said it. The bed behind me rose a bit and an attractive man in a white jacket held my head up and put a cup to my lips. It took everything I had to open my mouth and when I did, I was greatful for the refeshing feeling of moisture in my mouth and down my throat.
"Where am I?" I muttered and the attractive man cocked his head to the side.
"You don't know?" I shook my head as best as I could.
"No." I thought for a few moments before speaking. "Oh! I remember blood on Jaxes arm and then on my shirt and then everything went black." I said slowly. Looking less concerned the cute man nodded. "How long have I been sleeping?" I asked as he began to run tests on me.
"Five days." He responded.
"Is that a week? no that's not a week. Why is a week seven days? I don't like odd numbers, it should be ten days." I said matter of factly. The hot guy looked across the room as he wrapped something with velcro around my arm.
"She's still sedated, she'l be a bit loopy until it wears off."
"My side hurts." I pouted. The doctor nodded.
"Okay honey, well get you some painkillers." My eyes widened.
"You're going to kill me? Because my side hurts?!" He smiled and his eyes sparkled.
"No dear, I get you medicinde to kill the pain, not you."
"Oh." I laid my head back on the pillow. Someone else stood over me and I had to blink a few times to focus them in.
"Hey beautiful, how are you feeling?" The familar deep voice said as he stroked my cheek. I smiled and leaned into his hand.
"Everything hurts daddy." I pouted he smiled.
"I know baby, he's getting you medicine."
"Where's Mom?"
"In the waiting room, do want me to get her?" I shook my head.
"No she's probably crying." He chuckled.
"Oh she hasn't stopped since you past out almost a week ago."
"Where's Jax?"
"Last time I saw him he was crying into Caydens shoulder."
"Are you mad?"
"No baby, I'm not mad, just happy that its over and I didn't loose another daughter." He continued to stroke my cheek a simple gesture that showed he cared, yet I was eighteen and he had never done it before.
"What about my other brothers?"
"They are pacing the floor,.waiting on you to wake up."
"I'm up so what are they waiting for?"
"They probably don't know yet." A thought suddenly crossed my mind and I looked at my father.
"Daddy."
"Yes baby?"
"Did-did Miles make it?" He looked across the room then back at me.
"Why don't you see for yourself?" He said and nodded across the room. I turned my head slowly to see Miles looking down at me caustiously. I smiled to reassure him and a small smile broke out on his face.
