Chapter Thirty-Three

Things slowly got better, Miles helped me pick up the broken pieces, one at a time, my family was extremely supportive. I went to therapy twice a week and my therapist was able to help me see that Miles was right, just because something happens to me doesn't mean I deserve it. I was happier and friendlier I had a house party and invited everyone from school, although I had it at my parents house, with their permission. I had heard rumors around school that Blaze Heartly had been a teen mom and I decided that she was a good person to become friends with. I think the students at school thought I was high or lost my mind, but I didn't care, I was happy and finally returning to my old self.

"Aubrey." Miles said.

"Yes baby?" The class chuckled and he raised his eyebrows at me.

"Are you paying attention?" I grinned.

"No I was day dreaming."

"I kind of figured that out when I called hour name five times and you didnt respond."

"oh, sorry."

"Just come present your project." I grabbed the cd and the papers off my desk and walked to the front of the room.

"Okay, I wrote a poem it doesn't say enough, but I think it gets the point across." I put the Cd in and the main menu popped up on the tv. "I made a sort of music video for it and I really hope you like it." I pressed 'play' and let the video do the talking. A song About change played softly in the background and a black screen with 'Who is Aubrey Davis?' popped up. Jaxes face popped up on the screen and I am pretty sure I heard every girl in class sigh.

"Aubrey is a wonderful person, she mature, she's faithful, she's all around one of the best people tobe with, especially if you are bored or feeling down." Adyns face popped up and a couple girls squealed.

"Aubrey is a great sister, sure she can be a pain in my butt and a big of a nerd at times, but she is still the best sister and a great friend." Then kelsey popped up.

"Aubrey is the coolest girl you'll ever meet, she's a bit intimidating at first, but once you get to know her, shell rock your socks off any day of the week, as long as its not before 10:30." The class laughed. Miles face popped up.

"Aubrey is a great student, hardworking and a driven young woman. She is a fantastic author and writes some crazy awesome poetry." my parents showed up.

"Aubrey is a wonderful, loving, caring person and the best daughter you could ask for."

"That's she is." My dad agreed proudly. Seraphina showed up.

"Aubrey is the coolest little sister and is the most multitalented person I have ever met." Another black screen showed up with the words 'what is aubrey good at."

"Drawing." Owen said.

"Singing." Jax said.

"Playing instruments."  seraphina said.

"Cooking." Adyn said, patting his belly.

"Lying." my parents said with a grin.

"Writing." Miles said

"Supporting others and bringing people up when they are down." Kelsey said. another black screen and the words 'What has changed about her in this last year?' where scrolled across the screen.

"She has learned to.let things go." Kelsey said proudly.

"Letting things go, for the sake of herself." Seraphina said

"Not keeping things inside for her sanity." jax said.

"Accepting help from others." Owen said.

"Just because bad things happen to you, doesnt mean you deserve them." that was Miles
