I decided to update early to be a nice person.
"Hello lovebirds," Someone said behind us.
Peeta immediately jumped off of me and fell onto the floor.
"What do you want Haymitch?" I ask. His smile he was wearing dropped as he looked at me 100% serious.
"Something happened to your mother Katniss, she's in a coma."
My body immediately goes into shock and all I can do is stare at Haymitch to see if he's lying. Peeta wraps his arms around me to try and comfort me, but I barely feel them
"You're wrong. My mother wouldn't be stupid enough to get into a coma. She's smarter than that. She's one of the best doctors out there."
"Look Katniss, she is a wonderful doctor, but the coma wasn't her fault. We think someone put her in it."
"Who would do that?" I ask, on the verge of tears.
"We have our suspicions but there is a very unlikely person that is the main subject. They found her in her house in a coma, with a single rose sitting on her chest."
No it can't be. He can't be back. He died. He died that day and everything turned right in the world.
"It's most likely President Snow," Haymitch said. I already guessed that part but from hearing it come out of the mouth of one of the most important people to me, it sent me over the edge. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was a single tear fall out of Haymitch's eye.
