Christian's eyes widened but Hannah was just plain smirking. Christian stepped back and looked at Addison that was fuming in anger.

(Addison) "You bitch!"

She started walking towards Hannah but Christian grabbed her arm roughly. Maybe a little too roughly.

(Christian) "Don't you fucking dare." – he growled.

Hannah was giggling and jumping on the inside. When she walked to Addison before, Christian wasn't as half as mad as he was now that Addison was threatening Hannah. And she was damn happy about it. He still cared a lot for her.

(Addison) "You were kissing her!" – she tried to get away from his grasp but he was stronger.

(Christian) "I was kissing her forehead. And why the fuck do I need to explain that to you?!"

(Addison) "Because I'm your girlfriend and you're kissing some other woman."

(Christian) "She's not some other woman. She's the woman I grew up with. The woman I've been in love for twenty nine years, since the fucking moment she was born. And she's the mother of my son so never again, and I fucking mean never again, come at her the way you did. Girlfriend or not, nobody threatens or disrespects her." – he warned her, using his thick voice.

Saying that Hannah wasn't turned on by his bossy attitude, would be a complete lie. Saying that Addison wasn't scared of his bossy attitude, would be a complete lie as well. But saying that Christian was actually very serious about what he just warned, would be a complete true.

(Addison) "You're... You're hurting me." – her eyes started swelling in tears.

Christian let go of her arm but his expression was still grim.

(Christian) "Now, we're going back to the mob house. And we'll talk about this." – he told Addison.

Addison looked at Hannah, who was still smirking and then walked out the door.

(Christian) "Stop smirking, Anna." – he said, without even turning to look at her.

(Hannah) "You're still in love with me."

Christian tried to stop his smile as he walked out of the kitchen.

Three days later

(Hannah) "Are you sure about this, Marco?" – she crouched down in front of the little boy.

(Marco) "Mommy, I've told you. I'll be fine."

(Hannah) "I know... You're strong..." – she smiled.

Marco smiled too and when he saw a man climbing out of a car, his eyes lightened up and his smile got bigger.

(Marco) "Daddy!"

He tried his best to run to his father with his new backpack on his back. Hannah frowned and stood up, watching Christian pick up Marco with a huge smile on his face too.

(Marco) "Why are you here, daddy?"

(Christian) "It's your first day, do you think I'd miss it?"

Marco hugged Christian and Hannah couldn't help but to smile at the warm feeling in her heart. The feeling of wanting to see that scene every single day for the rest of her life.

(Christian) "Are you ready to start making new friends?" – he started walking to where Hannah was.

(Marco) "Yes! Toni told me how to talk to boys and girls."
