(Mariano) "How are you, dolcezza?" (sweetheart) – he smiled, kissing his granddaughter's cheeks.

(Hannah) "I'm fine. Just wondering why you wouldn't want to see your only granddaughter." – she teased.

(Mariano) "I had a very important meeting yesterday. That's why I couldn't see you."

(Hannah) "It's fine. I could sleep a little. Jet lag is killing me." – she groaned.

Mariano chuckled as he led her to the living room so they could both sit on the couch.

(Mariano) "So, why the sudden visit?" – he frowned.

Even though he already knew what she wanted.

(Hannah) "I want to know why Luca would kill my father."

Mariano talked to Roberto, who had talked to Christian before, and Roberto told the older man that it was Luca who ran over Ben.

(Mariano) "Why do you say it's him?"

(Hannah) "Because it was his car. I know it was him." – she glanced at her hands on her lap before she locked her eyes with her grandfather's. – "I'm gonna make him pay for it."

Mariano didn't know what to say.

(Hannah) "And I also want to know why everyone lied to me about the fact that my mother's killer is still out there." – she said, slightly angry.

He sighed, rubbing his forehead.

(Hannah) "I'm a grown woman. And I'm going to find out what happened to my parents and I'd appreciate your help but if you don't, then I'm going to find out the truth on my own."

Mariano didn't want his granddaughter finding out the truth, he had been trying to hide it for years, only two people knew about it. But he certainly didn't want her walking around, alone and confused, looking for answers.

(Hannah) "I know you know something..."

Now, he could see the pleading look in her eyes.

(Hannah) "Please..."

So finally, after a few seconds of silence, he sighed once more.

(Mariano) "Come with me." – he stood from the couch.

She stood up too and followed him down the hall, until they both got in his office. She closed the door behind her as she watched him pull a picture from the wall to reveal a vault. He put in a code and the small door opened. He reached inside and when he turned to her, he was holding a file.

(Hannah) "What is that?"

Mariano walked to the woman that shared the blonde hair and blue eyes with him.

(Mariano) "Read it."

She grabbed the file and opened it, as Mariano closed the vault and put the picture back on its place. Her eyes scanned over the words and she couldn't help but to create some tears.
