They were kissing so softly that she was certain she could pass out at any second. His lips were molding with hers and the hand on her cheek was rubbing it softly, remembering her of how much he loved to put his hands on her cheeks whenever they kissed and how much she loved the gesture as well.
But he broke apart from the kiss, leaving her wanting for more.
(Christian) "I have to go, Anna..."
She licked her lips, nodding slightly.
(Christian) "Go to my parent's house and have dinner there. I'm sure my mom has enough food for you."
(Hannah) "Okay."
He kissed her one last time, just a small peck before he started walking to the door.
(Christian) "Text me when you get there."
(Hannah) "I will."
He smiled at her and opened the restroom door but her voice stopped him.
(Hannah) "Christian."
He looked at her.
(Hannah) "Thank you for this." – she said sincerely. – "I know you must be feeling guilty for kissing me while you have a girlfriend. But I know you did this on purpose so I could be okay."
He smiled softly and winked at her, walking out the door afterwards and leaving her grinning like a schoolgirl that just got kissed by her crush.
When Christian reached the table, Addison was looking at the knife, bored.
(Christian) "I'm sorry I kept you waiting."
(Addison) "It's okay." – she mumbled.
He sat down and noticed her expression.
(Christian) "What's wrong?"
(Addison) "I'm upset because she showed up here."
He sighed. The tension was back again.
(Christian) "Addi,-"
(Addison) "Chris, you could've kicked her out."
He frowned.
(Addison) "But you still went along with her play." – she started getting angry.
(Christian) "Along with her play?" – he was starting to get angry too. – "What did you want me to do? Drag her out of the restaurant by her arm?!"
(Addison) "Yes!"
(Christian) "Are you fucking insane? Would you like me to do that to you?"
(Addison) "Don't compare me to her! I'd never interrupt your dinner the way she did! How did she even know we were here? You told her, didn't you?!" – she raised her voice.
(Christian) "I didn't. And keep your voice down!" – he said with gritted teeth.
(Addison) "You are unbelievable!" – she shook her head.
(Christian) "If you don't stop with your stupid accusations, we'll leave right now." – he threatened lowly.
She huffed but kept quiet. Christian sighed and then the waiter came back with their food.
In the middle of the dinner, Christian's phone got a text. He unlocked the screen and read the message.
Safe and sound at your parents' house. Marco is sending you kisses and hugs.
I'll see you tomorrow. Love you
He smiled softly and Addison looked at him with her eyebrow raised.
