(Hannah) "What happened to him?!"
(Mathew) "I was taking him from the car to his house and he passed out."
She put her hand on her forehead, not liking at all what she was hearing.
(Hannah) "Where is he?"
(Mathew) "I took him to the hospital. I asked Ian and Gary to help me put him back on the car because the dude may not be fat but he's heavy..."
(Hannah) "Yeah, he gained a lot more composure from what he was five years ago."
(Mathew) "Yeah... He started working out a lot to take his mind off what happened with you and Marco."
Hannah sighed.
(Mathew) "Well, anyway... We're in the hospital. He hasn't woken up since but the doctor says he's alright. He just needs to rest a little."
(Hannah) "You're there now?"
(Mathew) "Yep."
She put on a pair of ugg boots, grabbed her car keys and her bag and walked out the door.
(Mathew) "Hannah, please tell me you're not coming."
(Hannah) "Of course I'm going. He needs me."
(Mathew) "He's sleeping. They say he'll sleep for the whole night. You coming here won't change a thing."
(Hannah) "But I'm going there to support him."
He sighed over the phone, rubbing his forehead.
(Mathew) "Alright. We're in level 2. Room 72."
(Hannah) "Okay. Thanks, Matt."
Matt mumbled a sure before he hung up. Hannah walked to her car and got inside, driving to the hospital. When she got there, she walked to her destination and saw Matt outside, sitting on a chair. He immediately stood up but frowned at her outfit.
(Hannah) "I was in the comfort of my house. Stop looking at me like that."
He chuckled and she looked at the closed door.
(Hannah) "He's in there?"
(Mathew) "Yep."
Then, she looked around.
(Hannah) "What about bodyguards?"
(Mathew) "There are two in the front entrance and I have three more on the way to stay by his door."
She nodded, letting out a deep breath in relief.
(Hannah) "You're staying here?"
(Mathew) "I'm waiting for someone."
She raised her eyebrow.
(Mathew) "I had to call her..."
And Hannah knew immediately who he was referring to.
(Hannah) "She's his girlfriend. I'd like to know as well."
Matt nodded and rubbed her shoulder, watching her then walk inside the room. Christian was lying on the bed in the hospital gown but beneath the covers. He was attached to a simple machine that was just controlling his heartrate and blood pressure.
But even while sleeping, Hannah could tell he was exhausted. He had reached his limit and she was worried. She had never seen him like this. He looked so vulnerable, so fragile. He wasn't the same strong, powerful man that could scare the most notorious criminal with just one glare. He wasn't himself anymore and that scared Hannah.
