(Hannah) "Where the fuck are they?!"
No one dared to answer her. Lauren, Louise, Martha and Arianna watched Hannah pace back and forth, a pissed look on her face.
(Hannah) "They're one hour late! On my fucking wedding!"
(Martha) "Hannah, you should relax."
Hannah turned to her best friend, who instantly shut her mouth.
(Hannah) "Don't tell a bride to relax on her wedding day!" – she pointed the iron curler.
(Martha) "You're right! I'm sorry!" – she said frightened.
Hannah kept pacing back and forth but then her phone ringing made her stop.
(Hannah) "Yes?!" – she answered the call.
"Ms. Galletti, I'm sorry to inform you that there has been a delay with the flowers."
She let her body fall to the armchair that was behind her as tears started pooling in her eyes.
(Hannah) "How long will they take?"
"I'm not sure. A few hours at least."
Hannah threw her phone to the couch beside her and leaned forward, resting her elbows on her knees and her face in her hands.
(Arianna) "What's wrong, sweetheart?" – she stood from her chair and walked to her soon daughter in law.
(Hannah) "The flowers are late." – she mumbled.
Arianna shot a look to the other girls.
(Arianna) "Hannah, you don't need to stress over it. What's important is that you and Christian are getting married. Flowers are just in the background."
(Hannah) "But how can I marry him like this?" – she lifted her head to look at the older woman. – "My hairstylist is late and he was supposed to be bringing my makeup artist and the woman that is currently holding my wedding dress! I have nothing, Arianna!"
They all understood. One hour had already passed since they were supposed to be there and she was freaking out. She starting freaking out after five minutes, but one hour... She was close to sobbing.
(Martha) "Okay, maybe we should freak out..."
(Louise) "We just need to stay calm. Christian won't give up the wedding just because you're late."
Hannah started bouncing her knee in nervousness. She was wearing a white robe and her hair was almost dried from her earlier bath, being held in a bun.
(Hannah) "I think I may throw up..." – she mumbled.
(Arianna) "I'm gonna make you some tea and I won't take no for an answer."
(Hannah) "I'd actually thank you."
Arianna smiled and walked to the kitchen to prepare a mug with tea.
(Lauren) "Do you want us to do something?"
(Hannah) "It's fine... Just get ready, alright?" – she forced a smile. – "So it will only be me when they get here... If they get here." – she whispered the last part.
(Martha) "I'm sure they will..."
Thirty more minutes passed and still nothing. Hannah was sitting on a chair beside the window, just looking out. They were all pilled in hers and Christian's bedroom and they were getting ready for the wedding. Arianna was helping them with their makeup and the dresses they already had as best as she could but she could see Hannah's sad expression. Even if she did her makeup, her dress still wasn't there and it would be the most important piece on her.
