Hi. So, first of all, I want to thank to those that commented on the last chapter when I said what the reason was for not updating. I truly appreaciate you for taking some time of your day and for encouraging me with those words. You really are the best.

Second, I will try to post Chapter 28 this weekend, if not, Wednesday, the latest.

Third and final, vote, comment and share the story with your friends and family (not your parents because this story has some dirty scenes and it would be just awkward).

Thank you so much, have a great reading and I'll see you next time on Chapter 28.

(Mathew) "Hannah..." – he called for her, trying not to think about the pain he was feeling.

She groaned and he called for her once more, noticing her opening her eyes slowly.

(Mathew) "Thank God, you're alive." – he breathed out in relief.

She looked around the room they were in and her eyes widened when she saw him sitting on the floor, near the wall with his hands chained together.

(Hannah) "Matt!" – she tried to reach him.

But she couldn't. That was when she noticed she was too restrained. She was sitting on a chair, her hands and legs taped to the wooden material.

(Mathew) "I'm okay. Don't worry about me." – he tried to calm her down as she started fighting the restraints.

She stopped and looked at the wound he had on his left side, made by a stab.

(Hannah) "You're bleeding!"

(Mathew) "It's okay. It has gotten better, really."

Then, she looked around the room, trying to figure out where they were.

(Mathew) "You were unconscious the whole time. I went to get the picture from your penthouse and when I opened the door you were already unconscious with a guy behind you, holding a white cloth on your mouth. I tried to fight him but another one came behind me and stabbed me on my side."

She focused her eyes on the cuts in his face. His left eye was purple and the left eyebrow was swollen.

(Hannah) "Matt..." – her eyes tried to fight back the tears.

(Mathew) "I tried to fight them back, but I couldn't..." – he said quietly.

(Hannah) "You shouldn't have."

He chuckled but then winced from the pain, having Hannah frown.

(Mathew) "If I let them take you without a fight, Chris would cut off my balls."

She looked down to her lap, finally the tears falling from her blue eyes that had lost the twinkle they wore for the two days she had spent with the love of her life. Now, she was in a room with no clue of her location and with her best friend chained on a wall, bleeding intensely.

(Mathew) "He will come back for us. You know he will."

She sniffed, her eyes then travelling to her stomach.

(Hannah) "I just want my baby to be safe." – her voice cracked.

Mathew leaned his head back against the wall, looking up at the ceiling. He too was sad that he didn't get to be with his pregnant girlfriend. He had only just found out he was going to be a parent, just like Hannah had, when he and her were kidnapped. It wasn't fair.
