chapter nine- I got a part?

Jasmine's P.O.V.

I stayed after rehearsals at night to finish some of my sketches. I wanted to make portraits of the whole cast with little notes to motivate them to do their best. As I made a portrait for Makenzie I started to sing say no to this. I really like the song even though it's him cheating on his wife, I like the vocals on it.

Lin let me listen to some of the recordings he made himself. He just might record the whole cast. He still in the process of new songs and ideas. He really wants to get this before les miserable. 

I heard clapping come from the left of me. I turned startled to see Lin, I straighten up but still wondering shouldn't he be home right now. "Hey, Lin um shouldn't you be home?" I ask Lin.

"Jasmine you didn't tell me you can sing?" He asks totally ignoring what I asked him.

I sigh. "Yeah, so?" I ask.

"You need to be our Peggy/Maria your range is phenomenal!" He exclaims.

I blush. "Thanks but no one else knows and I don't think I want them to," I respond.

"Plese, I need you for this show Jazzy your part of the puzzle piece to drive this project," He pleads.

I sigh. "what about Makenzie?" I ask.

"She's fired," He answers.

I gape at him. "Lin you can't just do that!" I yell.

He sighs. "Fine she can be your under under study," He responds.

I raise any eyebrow confused. "Is that even a thing?" I ask.

"Nope, but I will make it," He plainly answers.

"Okay well...if it's going to benefit you and the show I will do it," I tell him.

"Thanks, it won't only benefit me and the show but you too and the cast," He tells me.

I give him a genuine smile happy for his offer.  "Kay night Jas," He tells me before leaving.

"Night," I respond.

I did a little dance, I actually got the part!!!!! I hear laughing from the left. I turn to Lin again. "I almost forgot my car keys," He says trying to hold back a laugh.

I blush of embarrassment. Once he actually left I lay on the ground staring at the light and sighed I got a part.

A/N Sorry it's really short it's just I wanted to get that part it's own chapter and  I might be able to update one of my stories. But today I'm busy cause I'm having my birthday party. (Yeah I know my birthday was like three weeks ago but we had to change the date since a lot of my friend were on vacation) plus at night I'm probably staying up to finish my homework assignments(I have a buttload of homework! plus I have to study for tests next week!) got to keep the straight A's or my parents won't be satisfied(*Waggles eyebrows* see what I did there) sorry school comes before wattpad. Then this Sunday is Easter and my cousins are visiting too. So maybe Monday I will be able to actually update. Thanks for my reads, votes, lovely comments, and followers. It all started with Billy Joel now I can't stop finding these amazing music artists. My make fun of me for listening to the music cause they say it's old but I don't really care I grew up to listening to that type a music. My dad has a whole lot of collections of albums that he always puts on and it's just very calming to my ears I think my dad has a good taste in music. Sorry about the ranting off. Also, someone told me that Anthony and Jasmine are getting married but I don't know to believe it or not cause I don't want to be disappointed plz tell me if you know. Anyways keep sucking up the world of romance!
