Pippa and Renee sat on my bed helping me get ready for my yogurt date with Oliver. Daniel is out somewhere he didn't tell me where he's going. Which I was really happy about. "Try... brown sweater, green jacket, ripped jeans, and green scarf," Renee tells me.
I go into my closet and dress into the outfit idea Renee offered. I come out of the closet in a pose. They both laugh. "It's perfect," They tell me.
I look myself in the mirror.

I adjust my coat and start heading out. Renee and Pippa drove home as I left to go on my date with Oliver.
I sat down in the yogurt shop waiting for the special someone to show up. I stared at my phone that had a notification from Anthony showing a text from him telling me good luck with my date. I smile warmly at my phone, I guess he's nice once you get to know him.
Someone clears their throat in front of me. I look up to see Oliver sitting there all cute. I smile warmly. "Hey," He greets.
"Hey," I respond.
Now let's see where this date will go off on.
Anthony P.O.V.
I texted Jasmine for her to have a good date. I didn't exactly mean it I mean I still find something fishy about the guy, not that I like her. I mean I just want her away from Daniel for now and to stay alive. (Hamilton reference!)
Oak tapped my shoulder. "So, you thinking about Jasmine again?" He asks.
"Yeah-no!" I quickly respond.
Daveed and Oak laughed. They banter too much. I roll my eyes reaching for the remote. "Let's watch..." I say as I scanned the options.
"We should have that hang out at that one fancy hotel with the money I won," Oak announces.
I look at Dav. "That's actually a good idea," I agree.
"Congrats Oak you came up with a great idea," Dav tells Oak rubbing his back.
Oak squints his eyes at him and I'm pretty sure he was about to say fuck you but then the doorbell rang.
I get up alarmed wondering who it is. Maybe it's Jasmine or-"Hey, baby," My mom greets hugging me.
It was Steph and my mom. Don't get me wrong I love my family but they can be a pain in the ass sometimes. I hug my mom a bit confused on why she's here shouldn't she be at the restaurant right now? "Um, hey mom...and Steph um what do you need?" I ask.
"Just wanted to say goodbye, me, Steph and your dad are going to Cali for a week," She explains.
"Wait, what?" I ask.
"Meaning you and your cousins are going to take good care of the restaurant," She adds.
"Why can't I come?" I ask.
"Cause you have another job and last time we let Rachel watch the restaurant they place almost burnt down so you're in charge," Stephanie explains further.
I smirk. "I'm in charge," I state again.
"Yes..." Steph responds.
"Me...Anthony Ramos?" I ask again.
"Mhm," She replies.
"In charge?" I ask again.
"Yes.." She miffed.
"That's awesome!" I exclaim.
"No games inside the restaurant," My mom adds.
I sigh. "Awww."
"Seriously Anthony Ramos Martinez I am trusting you, I want to come home knowing I don't have to worry about anything or anyone," She tells me staring me down in the eyes.
I smile with thumbs up. "You can trust me," I tell her.
She nods. "Great now bye bye," She tells me before leaving.
"Bye!" I call out.
Dav and Oak chuckle. "Yes! We can just hang out at your restaurant, imagine all the free food," Dav cheers.
"Hey, who said just because I happen to work at a restaurant and I'm your friend means you can have free food?" I ask.
They both sigh. "I'm kidding but it's a dollar," I tell them.
Jasmine P.O.V.
The date went very well I really got to catch up with Oliver he's now working towards being a journalist which is cool. I was happy to make my way home knowing Daniel wasn't drinking and that I can have for once a peaceful sleep.
I unlock the apartment door happily until I hear a voice say," Your home."
