Jasmine P.O.V
I waited outside my apartment patiently for Anthony, Oak, and Dav to pick me up. I quickly scanned my phone for any messages. An anonymous message comes up.
Anonymous
Anonymous: If you don't set up your partnership I will reveal your family secrets and hurt them
Jasmine: Who are you?
Anonymous: I said If you don't set up your partnership I will reveal your family secrets and hurt them! and you... it's your choice you team up with a restaurant or you and your family get hurt
Jasmine: I don't know who you are, but whoever it is top threatening me I will call the police if I have to, and my restaurant doesn't need a partner!
Anonymous: your choice
Before I could question it was Anthony, Oak and Dav pulled up. I smile before stuffing my phone in my bag. I bring my luggage which is just a little bag with a couple clothes for the four days we're gone.
Anthony's family know nothing about this and my family knows nothing about this. I just told my mom I'm going out for a few days with a couple of friends. Which technically isn't a lie since they are my friends and my mom didn't ask who they are. The only downside is I'll have to work extra hours when I get back.
I smile as I approached the car with my bag clenched tightly in my left hand. I open the back seat door but then Anthony tells me to step out a sec. "Why?" I ask.
"Hold on," He responds.
He chats with Dav who sat in the front of the car which turned into an argument but eventually, Daveed got out. He sat in the back with Oak. I look up at Anthony who smiled. "Take a seat," He tells me presenting the free spot.
He didn't have to do that. I sit down anyways setting down my bag on the floor of the car. I looked up at the window then Anthony. "So? Where are we going?" I ask as Anthony started the car.
"This fancy hotel called Ocean city," He tells me.(if you stalk Anthony Ramos...you should know he wrote a song called ocean city. References let's go!)
"Sounds nice, what are we going to do there?" I ask.
"Well..." Dav says reaching between the front seat for a pamphlet. "Ocean City pamphlet," He calls out.
"have you read it?" Oak asks.
(that reference sucked...it's probably so bad you guys didn't know it was even a reference but it shoots to the Reynolds pamphlet...yeah...*whispers* god I'm so awkward)
"Well they have laser t-" Dav starts.
"Laser tag!" I and Anthony exclaim at the same time.
Anthony glanced at me smiling trying to focus on the road. Dav lowers the pamphlet. "You guys didn't even let me finish?" He tells us.
"I know but I think it would be cool if we do laser tag first," I add.
"Yeah, what Jasmine wants is what she gets," Anthony says smirking.
It was hard to read his expression since I could only see half of his face and he could barely face my direction.
I bit my lip trying to figure what he meant. "Oaky well, laser tag it is," Oak finalizes.
"I wanted to go to the pool," Dav whined.
Anthony shook his head. "Stop acting like a baby, we'll go tomorrow," He tells Dav who slouched back in his seat.
