Anthony P.O.V.
It's been a month since we have been working on hamilton. Lin had to cut a few songs away from the first version of Schuyler defeated and let it go. I nad Jasmine have gotten more close to each other I mean like before she hated me and everything, I don't know if were friends or acquaintances but were closer than acquaintances but farther from friends it's confusing.
"Happy anniversary," Makenzie tells me as she walked into my dressing room interrupting my thoughts.
Shit, when did we agree on monthly anniversaries? I pause tying my hair up and look back at her. "Did you forget?" She asks.
"Oh, no no why would I," I lie.
"Well so what are we doing?" She asks.
I had to think quick. "My house, dinner on me," I answer.
"Okay, see you later," She responds before kissing my cheek and leaving.
I sit down giving a big sigh. I cook course cause I work at a restaurant but she's expecting a big romantic set up. I forgot our anniversary! Worst boyfriend award goes to Anthony Ramos Martinez I thought running my fingers through my hair.
A knock came at the door. I turn quickly to the door as Oak emerged out of the door. "You need to be out there man." He informs me.
"Kay," I respond before Oak closes the door.
I get up and head to the theater ready for practice. As I edged closer down the halls to the theater I hear yelling coming from Makenzie. I rush over to where Lin struggled to talk to her with Jasmine between standing there trying not to get too involved. "What's wrong?" I ask joining them.
"Jasmine is taking my role!" She exclaims.
"You're the under under study," Lin adds.
"Like that's even a thing," She snaps.
"Wait why?" I ask slightly amused that Jasmine is joining the play.
"Well the other night I heard her singing 'say no to this' and let me tell you her voice is phenomenal," Lin tells me supporting his decision.
"Do something, Anthony!" She exclaims.
"I can't, he's the boss," I answer.
"That's true," He answers.
I chuckle lightly knowing the hamilton reference.(Winters ball) She fumes. "I'll keep that position, but I want to be the understudy," She tries to reason.
Lin sighs. "Fine," He answers.
Now I have to make this dinner even more special cause of today.

After practice, I walked down the halls wondering how am I going to make it up to her. Jasmine walked down the opposite side of the hall that's when the idea popped in my head. I pull her aside. "Hey, Jazz hands," I greet her.
"Don't call me that," She responds.
Okay, so that's off limits. "What do you want?" She continues.
"Um well, I forgot me and Mackenzie-"
"Aniversary," She finishes.
"How did you know?" I ask.
"It's all she has been talking about since morning," She answers.
"Well, anyways I promised her a very big dinner tonight and I can't do that with the time now," I explain.
"You're a bad boyfriend," She adds.
