Jasmine's P.O.V.

It was time for another progress report that occurred at restaurants two times a month. Meaning all the restaurant close by our area would come down to whatever restaurant it was located. Last time it was located at my restaurant C.J.'s but it's located at the 70's diner where Oliver works. I'm a little pissed on why he cared so much about me and Anthony breaking the rule and why didn't seem to like it.

I was going to stay with my cousins Tyrone and Jaclyn but I decided to come along with Aunt Kathy, my mom, and Any. Mostly because lately my mom hasn't been showing me the reports which make me scared if our population is going down risking our family, restaurant of the year award, most likely shutting down the place which would mean Grandpa Louis would have to go to a nursing home my family would be too busy searching for a job, and me I would try to share some time but it wouldn't be much.

A little part of me hopes Oliver would make up being a complete jerk to me. I sigh as the little bells tingled as we entered the nice diner. Loretta (Oliver's mom) was sitting back at the counter. I smile walking up to her. "Hey, Loretta," I greet her.

She gapes at me. "Jasmine haven't seen you for a month you okay Jazz hands?" She asks alarm.

I chuckle putting my arms on the counter. "I'm okay," I reply.

"How bout the business and your family?" She asks.

I paused a bit. "We're doing great...I think, besides that my family is well..." I respond.

I think she already knew it was about Grandpa Louis and the possibility of my family losing the restaurant. She pats a spot for me on a box she was finishing unpacking. We both sit down. She pats my back. "Jazzy, I know it's scary me and the family were scared too, we thought we lose it all, but all you have to do is keep your hopes up and god in your heart, and you and your family will be alright, especially Grandpa Louis you worry too much about, even he sees that." She thoughtfully tells me.

I smile greatly at her and hug her. "Thanks," I thank her.

"No problem Jazz hands," She replies getting up.

I smile wiping my pants as another restaurant owner comes in. No sign of Anthony anywhere. "Was this seat taken?" A voice asks.

"Anthony," I say turning around but soon realizing it's Oliver.

He looks a bit pissed on the inside from what I said but at the same time trying to be calm. I sigh looking away from him. He takes my hand, I look down at it blushing knowing he's probably smirking. But wait he still didn't say sorry about the other day. I take my hand away onto my lap. Before he could say another word or make a move I got up the box walking to my mom.

The doors swung open and there came the Ramos family. But only Anthony and his cousins. Any sneers at them. I make eye contact with Anthony for a moment then look away blushing. I believe Oliver noticed cause he walked with his face a bit red from anger.

They call out for the meeting. There is an option for staying behind if you want to. I would but I'm really not in the mood for staying in the diner awkwardly with Oliver.

We enter the room and they take a roll of the restaurants then start calling out to check our progress. The thing is if your numbers are off you will suffer from embarrassment I tell you, I mean it never happened to us but I've seen it happen with others. My stomach started to hurt as the lady walked up to us. I gulp as my mom handed her the papers.

The lady stared at the paper with a straight face giving no evidence of approval or no approval. She looked up at us and lowered her glasses. "Hm? That's weird your reports are lower than usual, usually, you guys are off the charts," She tells us.
