When we arrived back at the hotel, I took a much needed shower. Who new Australia could get so hot in summer. Obviously not me. I washed my hair and body with my strawberry scented shampoo and body wash. I turned the shower off after about 20 minutes and stepped into the cold air. I dried myself off and wrapped the towel around me. I walked into the bedroom forgetting that Luke was there. ‘Maybe you should just wear that tonight.’ I heard him smirk from behind me. ‘Oh yes that’s a great impression for your family and friends.’ I spoke walking into the wardrobe. ‘What do I wear.’ I groaned looking through all the clothes I brought. ‘How about this?’ Luke smirked holding up a baneadau and mini skirt. I don’t even know why I had them to be honest. ‘Oh yes Luke that’s a great way to meet all your friends. In next to nothing.’ I murmured not really paying attention. ‘Yeah your right. Layers, layers are good.’ He smiled pulling out a thick jumper and jeans. ‘Luke it’s going to be nearly 30 degrees, I am not wearing a jumper.’ I chuckled, still looking through my dresses. Ah here it is. I gave Luke a quick peck on the cheek before running into the bathroom.
I have to say I don’t look too bad for meeting Luke’s family. I was wearing a peach coloured dress that came just above my knee and had small gold triangles around the collar. I had left my hair straight and tied it into a high ponytail with a ribbon. I left my make-up natural and had sprayed the One Direction perfume that Louis had gotten me for Christmas. As a joke of course, but it still smelt good. I grabbed the first pair of heels I could find and slipped them on my feet. Good they matched. I skipped down the stairs to find everyone ready and waiting for me.
‘Luke I thought you said you knew the way from the hotel.’ I whined, for about the 100th time. We had been driving in circles for what felt like hours. ‘Of course I do. It should be down that road!’ He smiled pointing towards a road. ‘You could have said that the last time we came down here.’ Ashton groaned, turning the car around.
We finally pulled up in front of a house that already had heaps of cars lined up outside it. For some reason nervousness was filling up inside my stomach and I was gripping Luke’s hand, really tight. ‘Hey why are you so nervous?’ Luke asked ducking down so he was the same height as me. ‘Psh. I’m not nervous, and even if I was it wouldn’t be because I was meeting your whole family not to mention the boys’ as well.’ I weakly said, not looking at him. ‘There going to love you. Mum has seen nearly all your interviews and she loves you! And you’ve spoke to her before, it’s just in person. You will be fine.’ He smiled, swinging my hands. I bit my lip and nodded following him into the house.
‘Luke, Tori is that you!’ I heard a voice call through the halls. ‘Yes we’re coming.’ Luke said, smiling at me. My heels clacked as we walked down the long corridor. ‘Tori it’s so great to see you.’ A blonde woman called, rushing over to hug me. ‘Hey Liz.’ I smiled hugging her back. ‘Yes I will just stand here. It’s not like I’m the son you haven’t seen for a year or anything.’ Luke shrugged from behind me. ‘Oh honey come here.’ Liz smiled wrapping him in a huge hug.
‘Liz this is amazing.’ I smiled, eating my second bowl of pasta. ‘I told you she could eat like Niall.’ Luke chuckled. I shot him a glare and playfully nudged him in the ribs making everyone laugh. SO far I think his family has liked me. At the moment it was only the boys’ families, while their friends are coming over later. Honestly this is the most nervous that I have been for a long time. ‘So Tori what’s next for your career.’ Liz smiled at me. ‘Well we’re writing and recording my second album. And Simon is having all these crazy ideas about movies and acting and tours.’ I smiled, taking a sip of my coke. ‘The only thing about that is that Tori is terrible at learning lines. A movie would take her forever to complete.’ Mel joked from the other side of me.
‘Tori come on. All the boys’ friends are here.’ Mel whined. ‘I’m just nervous. I mean what if their friends hate me. What if they think my music is awful!’ I said pacing around Luke’s old bedroom. ‘Tor you will be fine. They will love you!’ She smiled pulling me out the door. When we made it into the backyard, it was half flooded with people talking to the boys. Music was playing in the background and a lot of people were dancing. ‘Come on let’s go.’ Mel squealed pulling me onto the dance floor.
We had been dancing for a long time before Luke and Calum found us. They quickly showed us around to their friends and I guess Mel was right. They didn’t say anything about my career. ‘They love you Tor.’ Luke smiled wrapping me into a huge hug. I cuddled back into him trying to embrace the warmth while I could. ‘You know I never told you how happy that I am that you guys got together.’ Michael slurred pulling us into an hug. His breath stunk like alcohol and he started running around dancing with everyone.
‘Your going to have to handle him tonight.’ Luke and I spoke in sync, pointing at each other. I couldn’t help but laugh as he pulled me into another hug, kissing the top of my head. ‘Come on show me some of your dance moves.’ I joked pulling him into the middle. ‘Ok this one was taught to me by the Swag Masta himself.’ He smiled, starting to do hip thrusts. At this point everyone was laughing and I nearly had tears running down my face.
‘Luke!’ I heard a girl scream from behind us. I turned to face a gorgeous girl calling Luke. She had long, straight brown hair that passed her mid-back and had really pretty brown eyes. She had a perfect figure and was tall as well. In all honesty she looked like she could be a Victoria’s Secret model.
‘Ainsley!’
Who is this Ainsley?
Just a hint she will be a big part upcoming in the story!
