17 and Lost {Luke Hemmings}

Chapter 16

Tori’s P.O.V

‘Luke you have to support his head.’ I whined setting Fletcher to sit in his arms properly. ‘He’s just so small though!’ Luke smiled, cuddling the small child closer to him. Ok this was probably one of the cutest things that I have ever seen Luke do. I smiled at Luke and the giggling child and felt myself mentally aw. He would make a really good father. Wait what. Why am I thinking of that. I am too young to become a mum. Definitely too young. I mean we might not even get married. I would like to get married to him though. Whoa what is bringing all this up. I need to focus right now. Focus on the bullying campaign. Focus on the tour. I don’t need to think of getting married in the future. Not yet anyway.

‘We’re back.’ Jess called, interrupting my thoughts. They walked through the doors practically latched onto each other, smiles spread across their faces. ‘I have a feeling that there is no longer any single members of 5SOS.’ I smiled at the two of them. ‘Nah Michael and Miranda aren’t together yet.’ Luke said, carrying a sleeping Fletcher into the kitchen. ‘Ok so I have a feeling that there’s a lot that I missed out on.’ Jess giggled cuddling in closer to Ashton, who placed a kiss on her head.

‘Wait so you met Miranda at a meet and greet two weeks ago and she inspired you to make an anti-bullying campaign.’ Jess asked again, making sure she had all the facts right. ‘Yeah the way that those girls treated her made me realise that it happens to so many people. Get what I mean?’ I smiled as I watched the boys play with Fletcher who was now awake. ‘What your doing is amazing Tor, it really is.’ Jess smiled giving me a hug. I really did miss her. ‘So what are you planning to do?’ She asked taking a sip of her coffee. ‘Well Simon and I figured that we could make the most money for the campaign if we made an album using all different celebrities. So there will be Selena, Little Mix, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer. I have wrote a song to sing and I may or may not have said there will be a surprise singer.’ I said trailing off at the end. Jess’ eyes widened at the mention of a surprise singer, knowing that I meant her. ‘I don’t know Tor.’ She started. ‘Come on. Just one song for the two of us and one by yourself. Please Jess.’ I begged, giving her the biggest puppy dog eyes that I could master. ‘Egh fine.’ She gave up making me cheer really loudly.

We had all been aimlessly talking for the past hour, now that Fletcher had gone to sleep in the cot that the hotel kindly gave us. Like I said we had been talking not really noticing when the others had arrived back. I heard an ear piercing scream and I turned to find Melonie, Calum and Michael laughing at Miranda who was fangirling on the floor. I looked over to find Jess with a worried expression on her face and Luke and Ashton were failing to hold back their sniggers. ‘Oh my gosh. Honey are you ok?’ Jess asked walking over to her. I might have forgot to mention that Miranda was one of the biggest fans of Repeat Again when the band was around. Miranda’s eyes were wide open as she blinked ferociously, trying to determine if Jess was really standing in front of her. ‘Your Jessica Rivers.’ Miranda whispered trying to regain her focus. ‘Haha yes I am.’ Jess smiled, laughing a little. ‘I’m sorry about that before. You were my idol. I loved Repeat Again.’ She smiled at Jess, a light pink blush streaked across her cheeks. ‘Thank you so much. So you must be the girl that stole my little Mikey’s heart.’ Jess giggled. Now Miranda and Michael’s faces were both stained like tomatoes. ‘Um… we aren’t.’  Michael stuttered. ‘Yet.’ I heard Ashton mumble under his breath making everyone laugh and Michael and Miranda blushed even harder if that was possible.

‘I had to tell you guys something.’ Miranda started as we were all cuddled together on the couch. ‘What is it hun.’ Mel asked, taking a sip of her coffee. ‘my flight leaves tomorrow.’ She sighed, looking at each of us. ‘I thought you weren’t supposed to leave for another 2 days.’ I cried sitting upright on the couch. ‘That’s what I thought. The flight got moved up and we have already payed, it’s non-refundable.’ She sighed again, sinking back into Michael. Everyone had sad looks on her face, even Jess. The girls had only met a mere hour ago and were already really close.

‘I’m going to miss you guys.’ I cried wrapping Miranda in a huge hug. ‘hey it’s only going to be two weeks.’ She smiled. ‘besides you’re going to be crazy busy. The campaign remember.’ She said, wiping the tear off my face. ‘yeah your right.’ I smiled, giving her one final hug. She said her goodbyes to each of the boys’ and girls’ leaving Michael for last. We decided giving them a little bit of privacy. But privacy for us meant that we were pressing our ears up against the door.

‘I’m gonna miss you Mikey.’ We heard Miranda’s soft voice speak. ‘I’ll miss you as well.’ Michael’s deeper voice spoke. ‘We will meet up in London alright?’ Miranda asked. ‘Definitely.’ I could tell Michael was smiling. ‘I was thinking maybe I could take you out when we get back.’ He asked nervously. ‘Like on a date?’ Miranda giggled. ‘Well yeah. If you want to-‘ We heard Michael get cut off and everything went silent. ‘Do you guys think?’ Calum whispered, looking over at each of us. ‘Does that answer your question.’ Miranda giggled. A loud honk of a car horn sounded from out the front making us all jump away from the door and rush over to the couches that were situated in the living room. A few moments later Michael came through the door with a huge smile and a small blush stained across his cheeks. ‘Aw someone’s in love!’ Ashton smirked as Mikey went and sat down on the couch. We all started laughing as soon as Michael’s cheeks got redder.

The Luke feels!!!
And Miranda will be back in the story as soon as they get back to London.
