Tori’s P.O.V
‘Tori come on, you need to get up.’ I heard someone say, ripping the covers off my warm body. The coldness hit me hard making me wince and curl up into a ball. ‘Come on. You need to be at the studio in an hour. Your announcing the campaign.’ The voice whined throwing pillows at me. I think it was Jess. I groaned sitting up slowly trying to rub the sleep out of my arms. The curtains had been thrown back and the hot Australian sun was shining throughout the room. I looked over at the clock to find that it was 10:30 and the interview started at 11:30. ‘Yeah I’ll be ready in 30 minutes.’ I sighed, rubbing my eyes again. Jess took this as her cue to leave as I walked over to my suitcase and tried to find an outfit that would be suitable for the interview. Because all the crew that helps with my sound and my look also got the month off, means that I had to do my make-up and hair for interviews. Thank goodness I only had one.
‘Now Tori for the past two weeks everyone has been buzzing about this news you and Simon have announced. Do you mind telling us what that is?’ the perky announcer smiled. ‘Well there have been many rumors like a movie, a perfume some even said I was pregnant.’ I chuckled, thinking back of the rumors that were spread across my timeline. ‘But it’s none of those things. I have decided to start an anti-bullying campaign.’ I smiled as the audience all cheered. ‘So what brought all this up?’ the interviewer asked once the audience had quieted down. ‘Well I have noticed that no matter what you do in life, there will always be haters. Even if you haven’t done anything to them. Whether your famous or not people will always be there criticizing you. And I guess I have never understood why people do that. Why should we judge and bully each other. Why should we tear each other down. So I guess that’s why I want to start this campaign. To show boys and girls that doing this sort of thing to each other is not ok. SO why are we still doing it.’ I smiled. The audience was silent after my speech and you literally hear a pin drop.
One by one people started clapping and cheering, making me amazed at how much people cared about what I had said. ‘Well I’m sure that we can all agree that what your doing is an amazing thing. We’ll just take a short break before Tori explains more about this life changing campaign.’ The reporter smiled at the camera. I breathed a sigh of relief as one of the crew members ran on stage and handed me a bottle of water. I smiled a thanks to them and took a huge gulp out of the bottle. As I placed the bottle down next to me, I looked over to find a smiling Luke, looking proudly at me. I gave him a little wave and he snapped out his trance, making me giggle. He pulled a goofy face at me making me laugh even more. My face was about as red as a tomato when they started filming again.
‘And now we’re back with the beautiful, Tori Carter. Now Tori before we took a commercial break you told us some huge news, mind sharing a bit more about it?’ The reporter smiled at me. ‘Ok so basically, I as well as my amazing record company, have decided to create an anti-bullying campaign. The campaign is called Together We Will Shine. So I have pulled together a bunch of people that I’m going to call my ‘Supergroup’ and we are together making an collab album. All proceeds will be going to promoting anti-bullying, especially over the web.’ I smiled as the audience started clapping again.
‘So is there any chance of us finding out who exactly in this supergroup?’ I got asked which made my smile widen a little. ‘Now that I can’t tell you, but there will be some really big names on there.’ I smiled, waving to a few young girls in the crowd. ‘Well you heard it hear. Tori Carter has announced her anti-bullying campaign, Together We Will Shine. After the break we will be speaking with the very handsome Logan Lermon.’ The reporter smiled at the camera as someone called cut. I smiled at all the crew before making my way into Luke’s waiting arms. I practically leapt into his arms making him stumble back a little and chuckle into my ear. ‘Come on let’s go get some food.’
‘What do you want?’ Luke asked when we pulled up into the driveway of McDonalds. ‘Oh uh whatever.’ I mumbled as my eyes widened at my Twitter timeline. Together We Will Shine was all over twitter and I mean everywhere. The fans were going absolutely crazy.

I couldn’t believe how fast the news had spread but I was so happy that they had a good reaction to it. ‘Tor, my mentions are blowing up like crazy asking if I’m in this so called Supergroup.’ Luke chuckled putting finger quotes around the word Supergroup. I laughed along with him as he drove up to the next window. ‘Hi welcome to McDonalds, here is your- OH MY GOODNESS YOU ARE TORI CARTER AND LUKE HEMMINGS!’ The girl at the window booth screamed when she saw us. Luke chuckled next to me while I smiled politely at the girl. ‘Do you think I could get your autograph?’ She asked holding out a napkin. ‘Of course you can sweetie.’ I spoke in my american-english accent. I grabbed the napkin out of her hand and scribbled my name down before handing the napkin over to Luke. ‘Thank you so much.’ She smiled as she grabbed a bag off the counter next to her. ‘Here’s your meal. Have a nice day.’ She smiled again, redness filling her cheeks. ‘Thanks you too.’ I waved before Luke drove off.
‘Luke how much food did you order.’ I asked as I pulled about 5 burgers out from the bag. ‘Well you didn’t eat breakfast so I know you would want at least two burgers and well I’m just hungry.’ Luke shrugged as he took a huge bite out of his Big Mac. We were sitting at a park that Luke had taken me too earlier in the week. It was really nice and secluded, making me feel like it was only the two of us in the world. I opened up my chicken burger and took a huge bite out of it. I felt all the mayo smear onto my face and before I could wipe it off, Luke grabbed my face and pulled it closer to his, so our foreheads were resting on each other. ‘I love you so much.’ He whispered, before kissing my cheek wiping the mayo off in the process.
‘I love you too.’ I whispered before smashing my lips together with his. It has felt like forever since it was just the two of us. Don’t get me wrong I love the boys and girls but I feel as if it’s never just Luke and I any more. Luke broke away from the kiss and pulled me closer to him so my head was resting on his chest. I could hear his heart beat slow and steady like a rhythm to his own song.
Wow that sounded cheesy. Let’s forget I said that.
‘Luke why did you get so much food. I think I’m going to be sick.’ I groaned as I clutched my stomach. ‘I never said you had to eat all of it.’ He grinned as we walked through the door. ‘Guys were home.’ Luke called. We were answered by a loud sob coming from the other room making me forget about my sickness and rush straight in there. I walked in to find Jess sitting on the ground, her knees to her chest, tears running down her face as she sobbed loudly. Mel was sitting next to her tears slowly falling from her eyes, trying to comfort her. I looked over to the other side of the room to find an angry Ashton, his face red and filled with tears, from anger I assume. Mike and Cal were standing with him trying to calm him down. I quickly rushed over to Jess’ side and tried to get her to tell me what was wrong. Tears were falling down her face even harder now as she shakily pointed to the piece of folded white paper sitting on the ground next to her.
I slowly picked it up, feeling Luke’s eyes staring into me from behind. My eyes slowly started to fill up with tears as I read over and over again. I couldn’t piece together in my mind what would cause this to happen. Why did this have to happen. Tears feel down my face as I tried to hold myself together. ‘Tor what does it say?’ Luke asked worry filling his voice.
‘Matt’s taking them to court for the legal rights to Fletcher.’
