Papyrus set me down and he went to knock on a door. It opened and revealed Toriel and Asgore. They looked up at him with fake smiles.

"Yes Papyrus?" Toriel smiled painfully.

"THE HUMAN IS AWAKE!" He pointed to me as Sans made it up the last step.

He walked to me and went back to holding my hand. I'm not complaining. Toriel gasped and rushed over to see me. She tried to grab my face and remove the mask but I flinched and hissed out when she touched the mask.

"Sorry mom, but I don't like showing my face to people." I looked down and some of my hair fell in front of my face.

"O-Oh, okay my child! That's okay." She still smiled and hugged me, not noticing that I had my hand laced with Sans'. I let go of his hand for a moment so I could hug Toriel back.

Asgore walked behind Toriel and put a hand on her shoulder, smiling. She was crying tears of happiness.

"Heh, I need a sign that says 'danger prone' to put on my back that way people know its normal for me to face off with death." I laughed as I picked Sans' hand back up. "Your hand looked like it was heavy, hope you don't mind me holding it up for you."

His face seemed to burst into a blue hue as he stared down at our hands. Papyrus knocked on another door only to have it answered by my old enemy. Ms. CalmYourLeftTit. She looked at Papyrus confused before seeing Toriel crying and me standing there. Sans was basically out of her sight from the wall blocking her view.

"Hey punk! Did you make the queen cry?!" She started to fume with anger and Papyrus waved his hands around.

"NO, UNDYNE! THAT'S THE HUMAN THat Sans was so worried about. The one that saved me. She woke up." He spoke quieter in the middle that way Sans and I couldn't hear him.

"Oh! Hey Nightmare, your owner woke up. Alphys, she's wearing the mask. It looks damaged." Undyne retreated back into the room and Midnight bull rushed out of it. She ran to me and ended knocking both me and Sans over since we were still linking hands.

"Nightmare, calm down." I pet her fur as she whimpered and gave soft puppy cries into my black hoodie. Soon I heard a squeal and saw Alphys looking at me and Sans, and Undyne was taking pictures.

"How long have they been holding hands?" Undyne smirked and asked Papyrus.

"SINCE THEY GOT HOME. WHY?" His response only made Alphys squeal more.

"You two are so cute! I ship it!"

I hid my face in my arms as Sans let go of my hand. I couldn't help but blush at her comment.

"Alphys. No." Sans spoke as he blushed a light blue. He had his arms crossed as well.

"Aw, c'mon Sans. You know you like her. You did stay with her for three weeks while she slept!" Undyne laughed and nudged Sans teasingly.

I didn't want to hear this anymore. I got up and quickly went downstairs, going to the couch and laying on it. I tried to calm down and took off the mask. I held it in my hand, running my fingers over the cracks where the mask was fractured. Small tears rolled down my cheeks as I put the mask down. My left cheek was bloody and tears streamed down it. I heard someone coming down the stairs and quickly put on the mask, covering the fracture with my hair. It was Papyrus.

"Human, are you alright?" His voice was low so he didn't alert the others.

"Yeah P-Paps...I'm alright." My voice broke on the last word, giving away that I was crying.

"Human, what's wring? Why are you crying?" He sat down on the couch next to me and pat my back. I slowly removed my hair from covering the fractured mask, causing him to gasp.

"I don't think I'll be alive much longer. Not because of you guys, but because of my sister. My family." I spoke softly while wiping my tears on my hoodie sleeves. Someone else started to come down the stairs but I couldn't hear. Soon the couch sank underneath the other person's weight. I made sure the left side of my face was covered with my hoodie sleeve.

"Hey (Y/n), why are you covering the left side of your face?" It was Sans. He seemed happy and confused. More tears slipped down my face as Papyrus whispered something to Sans. I could see his smile fall into a worried look.

"The punch. It broke the mask and cut my cheek. Nothing big." Papyrus looked angry and confused.

"Human. Who. Punched. You?" I could see light flare of orange leave his right eye.
