Nightmare continuously refused to eat the candy as I cried. She howled out as I felt something impale my chest and back. I looked down and smiled as I saw that I was finally dying, a bone was sticking out of my chest. I checked my hope but it was already at zero, it was impossible for me to lose anymore that zero. I pulled the bone out and pelt the intense burn. Sans was watching in anger as I dropped the bloody bone on the ground and looked at him, depression leaking through my gaze. I was pretty sure he could see it too.

"Why?! Why did you kill him?!" He shouted as I could see the blue tears stream down his cheekbones.

I wiped my own tears away and continued trying to heal my friend. Suddenly Nightmare got up and a giant skeletal wolf made of sapphire blue magic had appears and the bast that would have ended both me and Nightmare was blocked. Sans eye socket twitched and he summoned more blasters and fired them but the giant wolf blocked them all and I could see Nightmare's energy leaving her body.

"NIGHTMARE!" I shouted as she fainted and the protector she had summoned dissappeared. Sans stood wide eyed.

I cried as I held her now weak body in my arms. I brought her head to my shoulder as I cried into her chest fur. I felt a spark in me as I had been given hope but taken away from me. My scowled with my sharp teeth as a sudden (f/c) mist surrounded my hand and four large wolves jumped at Sans. More tears streamed down my cheeks as I watched Sans dodge all of them but he almost got bit by one.

"You did this! YOU HARM ED MY ONLY FRIEND!" I shouted in rage as more wolves attacked Sans. He was sweating and had a guilty look in his pin pricks.

I sent the wolves away and hugged nightmare close to me. I could see Sans reach out to me, but I only growled from how close he was to Nightmare's body. He retraced his hand as I sobbed into her fur. I checked her hp. (1/25 HP) I sobbed harder and gripped onto her fur. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up, causing my hood to fall off. He saw my face and I snapped at him with my jaws.

"It's okay bud... she'll survive, all you need to do is hope for the best." He tried to comfort me but I only felt a sharp pain in my other shoulder.

I noticed both me and Nightmare had bones in our body and Sans was glaring at us. Blood pooled below me as I slowly bled out, I watched Nightmare turn dust while waiting for my end. I stood up despite the pain and snarled at Sans before a knife appeared in my hand again and I rushed at him. He wasn't expecting it and because I was so close I stabbed him without him dodging in time, whispering to him.

"See you next timeline." As my soul finally broke and Sans had turned to dust.

I took a deep breath as I saw Sans, but different. He was pure white with Papyrus' scarf and a large gash from a knife on his chest, along with pixels blocking parts of his body. I also saw Frisk with glitches but I didn't care. I looked around and saw Nightmare in the shadows, sapphire eyes glowing. I smiled as she limped to me, still injured by the fight we had died together in.

"Where are we?" I asked Sans politely.

"This is the save menu, you only go here when you don't have the power to reset." I nodded.

"Thank you for the information. Do you know how to get back?"

"Yes, we have to wait for Chara to reset." I looked down and saw Frisk pulling at my sleeve.

Frisk and I played with Nightmare until suddenly I felt myself dying once more. The world shifted and Sans was holding out his hand for Frisk and they walked away.
