Sans and I stared at Papyrus shocked. I put a hand on his shoulder and looked at him with teary eyes.
"Its okay Papyrus. They're just emotional right now..." My hand fell off his shoulder as I started to shake again.
Sans got up and went to my left side while Papyrus sat on my right. He pulled me into a hug as sobbed my eyes out, not making any noise. Papyrus pulled both of us into another hug in his embrace. Undyne and Alphys peaked down the railing of the loft to look at us. As soon as they saw my shaking figure in the large embrace they went back upstairs.
"Thanks. I really needed that." I broke from the warmth, sniffling.
"Are you okay?" It was Toriel. She had stood by the railings. I faked a smile as I looked up at her with the scratch and the bruise visible.
"I'm great." I lied. Sighing I got up.
"Well, we have to build you a room now, for now you can share a room with Sans." Toriel smirked mischievously as My face flushed with Sans'.
"Tori!" Sans shouted while starting to fume. He pulled his hood over his head as he started to blush a bright blue.
Papyrus laughed along with Toriel, Asgore, and me. Soon Sans joined in, pulling me into a hug again. I stopped laughing and blushed brightly. I got up abruptly and sped upstairs, everyone started to talk like old times and I headed to Sans' room. Sighing, I closed the door in a hushed manner as I looked at the unmade bed. I shook my head.
I went to the sheets and started to pull them over the mattress. I struggled for a the last corner but I got it. I then pulled the pillows off the floor and put them on the bed properly, pulling the comforter onto the bed as well. As soon as I finished I kicked off my boots and took off my hoodie, laying on the bed. I laid there for a moment before sighing and relaxing into the surprisingly comfortable mattress, closing my eyes. Suddenly I felt tension as another presence entered the room without opening the door. I didn't move, but I still had slowed my breathing that way it seemed like I was sleeping. The mattress sunk in under the other person's weight. They hesitated but wrapped their arms around my waist, pulling me close. I felt their boney arms and came to the conclusion it was Sans.
He rested his head in the crook of my neck as he pulled me close enough so then he was spooning me. It felt nice, almost like it was supposed to happen. My belly filled with butterflies as we spooned. His breathing slowed down to show he had fallen asleep. I blushed as I opened my eyes. I shifted in his arms until my head was against his chest. It rose and fell with each breath. I didn't question it and just wrapped my arms around his neck, snuggling into him.
I let darkness envelope my vision, but instead of it being frightful, I felt safety and relaxation as I fell asleep.
