Loki and Wanda were smiling like they had just seen a baby puppy. Or kitten. But perhaps they had seen something just as cute. After all, Bucky and (y/n) have been talking to each other for a while now. It was almost 7:30. They'd been chatting it up for an hour. It seemed like Bucky was taking a liking to the girl. At first, it had seemed like the man would never let the teenager get close to him, and yet here they were. Talking like old friends. The two mind readers had no idea how their previous relationship, Bucky staying away from her and vice versa, had gone far into this new one. One things for sure. Everyone was thinking the same thing. They were happy that Bucky and (y/n) were happy chatting together.

Steve was pleased that Bucky was comfortable enough, not only with the new girl, but also with being around the rest of the team. Tony and Clint were happy about the girl's progress with social scenarios and situations where she would have to talk to someone she hardly knows. But above all of them, Loki and Wanda, who didn't know her at all, were proud of her for having a higher self esteem. She was so much more comfortable around Bucky.

Tony had eaten in the lab while finishing her new arm. He'd only come upstairs at 7:26 to bring her the arm, when he instead saw her and Bucky. He decided to wait till she or Bucky noticed the arm he was holding. As if on cue, Bucky's eye sight was drawn to the metal arm to replace the battered one the girl had on. He nudged her and pointed to Tony.

Tony saw her notice the arm and they both grinned. He came over to her and Bucky and carefully took off the old broken arm. He placed the new better arm where it belonged and made sure her nerves were able to move the fingers and arm. The arm was just like Bucky's, even the star. Only it was a right hand, not left hand. She had a few minor changes to her arm, to get the Hydra tech to stop working. Unfortunately for Tony, he had to use many of the Hydra parts for the arm. He found a way to use the particle that had powered the newest arc reactor in his chest to counteract the Hydra tech. He managed to make the power output low enough so that the particle wouldn't have too much input and too little output.

Steve looked over at the girl and Tony and grinned from his seat across the room. He'd sat in between Clint and Pietro on a couch while everyone ate. Pietro was chatting with Wanda, who had sat on a beanbag beside him. Loki and Thor sat beside each other on another couch. There was now an open seat where Tony had gotten up from Thor's left. Bucky and (y/n) were both on a large black and red beanbag. Bucky was looking over at the girl, who was trying out her new arm. She's never been able to feel what a new one felt like. But now she had.

Four hours later, (y/n) finished another intense game of foosball against Sam. During dinner, Sam and Rhodes had been practicing their foosball skills. Sam had won against Rhodes many times, but (y/n) had been beating Sam ten to one. They played until 11:30 when Sam had lost his tenth game. He threw his hands in the air in surrender.

"Alright you. I give up. For now. But that was some intense foosball skills. I'm impressed kiddo. But it's getting late. And you look like you have been awake for a hundred years. I'll bet if you go find Clint or Steve, they'll show you to your room." She nodded sleepily. "Night, kid"

"Night, Sam. I'll find Clint." She nodded again before wandering off to find the archer.

When she found the hawk, he was hiding himself in the vents above the library. She smirked to herself, knowing Loki would be there. She decided that 11:30 was the perfect time to play a small prank. She wandered into the library and allowed Loki to read a bit of thought.

Clint's in the vents. I'm tired but I still wanna prank him. You in?

She looked at Loki and he smiled at her, silently telling her that he was completely ready to help her in any way possible. So she wandered over to the couch he was on and plopped herself next to him.

"You know... I-I did some research. O-on Asgardians. D-did you know, that y-you are only s-seventeen in our y-years?" She shyly mumbled. Prank or not, it was exceedingly hard, and taxing on the brain, to talk to people. Even if they aren't really people. Being social was much harder than extroverts made it look.

   Loki smirked a bit.

"You know, that is one of the most interesting things that I've heard today. I did not know this. Doesn't that make me a mere one year older than you?" He pondered the thought.

"U-uhm I g-guess so... y-yeah you would be. If you were m-mortal a-anyways." Loki smiled at her gently.

"There is no need to be frightened when you speak. Your voice is lovely, anyone who says otherwise is a fool. And I would not hurt you. Why must you be so nervous?" He genuinely asked. He wasn't sure if she would count their conversation as part of a prank or if she would know and hear in his voice that his words were true.

"W-well it's not so much w-who I speak with, but it's just b-being social..." she understood that Loki was talking truthfully to her and knew that he would know she was being genuine as well.

"I see... well I can help you if you like. Help you become more..." he moved his head closer to hers to make Clint on edge. "social...?" She blushed when Loki came closer to her, though she knew it was a prank.

"H-how would y-you...?" She squeaked out. He moved closer to her and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him. He took his other hand and used it to hold her chin up higher, bringing her face closer to his.

"I do have a silver tongue, but if you'd like I'd definitely allow you to check for yourself. After all, it's only a three year difference here... and I do believe that three years is socially acceptable, is it not?" She blushed even brighter.

   "W-well it is acceptable..."

Loki leaned in to kiss her, just as Clint jumped down from the vents.

"There will be one of that around here thank you very much! Three years or not she's still new here! Calm yourselves children. I don't want any baby Loki's running around here. You girly off to bed. Your room is on the right next to mine and left next to Bucky's. Follow me. And Loki, I've got my eye on you..." Clint pointed from his eyes to Loki's.

Loki chuckled and helped the girl up. "I wasn't going to kiss her. We were merely pulling a prank on your old arse." She chuckled at both the prank and Loki's choice of words.

Clint face palmed and groaned. "Well excuse me if I don't trust either of you alone again."

She laughed at Clint and his reaction before lightly punching Loki's arm with her left hand. "Come on Clint. He's like a big brother to me. And probably the best one I could ask for." Now it was Loki's turn to chuckle.

Clint chuckles as well and sighed. "Well little miss thing, it's time for bed. Let's get going now." He led her to her room, and they ran into Bucky, just as he was entering his room.

"Night Bucky..." she said. She knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep that night, and figured the same would be for Bucky.

He nodded to her and knew the same thing she did. That neither of them would sleep. She yawned and went into her bedroom.

The room was very spacious. A queen bed with red sheets and pillows. Lots of pillows. Probably 10 pillows. The bed was in the far corner of the room, and many of the pillows surrounded the bed leaning against the wall. The room itself was a turquoise colour, and had a large walk in closet, a desk with a laptop and lots of paper, and even its own mini fridge and bathroom. She went over to the dresser and changed into an extra large black T-shirt, and a pair of gray pants. She slipped into the bed and tried to sleep.
