*JESS'S POV*

--5th grade year--

Chandler and Sam are sitting in the principal office and I am super worried about them. The principal is standing in front of them, screaming at them. I was a part of this too but only a little part. Though I didn't get caught. I told them where the principal lives. That's all I did. I never knew why they wanted to know.

Tears start forming in my eyes.

How could they? How could my two best friends do something like this?

They went and broke into the principals house at midnight and they stole his dog, busted his tv, and they picked up the principals daughter in her sleep and they laid her outside.

They did something so stupid but why?

As I am walking home from school I get a call from Chandler and he sounds terrified.

Chandler: Jess!

Me: What happened?!?

Chandler: Well um... My mom is sending me to boarding school... So is Sam's mom.

Me:WHAT

Chandler: I'm sorry Jess, I-i-I'm really going to miss you.

Me: where are you going?

Chandler: somewhere in LA. Me and Sam are going to the same place. I'm so sorry jess. I gotta go, my phones on 2%.

I push my phone into my pocket and start to sob.
