We watched

Starting to set,

The sky
Changing its colours,
Going from
Blue, to purple, to red,
To orange, to yellow, to black.
I remember
Watching,
And thinking
That you were my sun,
And that I was the sky.
You came,
When I was blue,
And I changed.
And then you left
And I changed
Again.
First, I was blue.
Then I was
A palette a canvas I was every colour in the rainbow.
Then I went black.
