dear bee

it's been a while because winter to spring means i have to stop being lilies and start being daisies. sometimes flowers have downtime too which is a why we go from all-consuming sweetness (and sometimes spicy;)) scents to scentless (we hope you still like us though).
a

s flowers, we like to wake up to the touch of dewdrops. we look for our bee, we sway, we bloom, sometimes we aren't at our best and we droop. some days we're coy; we'll hide behind all our leaves and wait for you to pursue us. then when we reveal ourselves, we make you dizzy cause.. honey..
sometimes, when i'm particularly pretty, the dragonflies and caterpillars are jealous of you. but don't worry. flowers are to bees as surely as noah is to the ark.
flowers are soft creatures; we enjoy nurturing. even without it, we bloom in all seasons, but we bloom cheerier with a touch of tlc.

stay flower-struck,
your perennial sweetness
