[Name] only knew one way to get to her job, and that was via public bus. She walked the dark streets of her town often and wasn't too paranoid about someone potentially harming her.

She pulled her phone out to check if she had any missed messages and also the time. It was 11:25 and her bus was coming in eight minutes but she didn't worry because she was already at her stop.

[Name] patiently waited the eight minutes for her bus to arrive, and it arrived on time. She boarded the bus and paid the fare. Everyday she would see the same people on the bus. An elderly man, a male hipster listening to loud indie rock music, and a mean looking college student. And everyday she would make her way to the back of the bus and sit in an empty seat.

[Name] plugged in her headphones, listened to her music and prepared herself for the long ride.

...

[Name] stepped off the bus and headed west from where her stop was. Her music still played in her ears as she walked towards the diner with the flashing sign that said "Still Open".

[Name] pushed opened the doors of the 24 hour diner, seeing one of her coworkers sweeping up the floors and another wiping off a table. There was this one sweet waitress that was at least pushing 40 that always offered [Name] coffee.

"Hey there sugar lump, would you like some coffee? You look mighty tired," she said every night since [Name] started working there.

"I would love some, but no food this time," [Name] says while smiling. "I was able to make a breakfast burrito when I woke up."

"Coming right up dearie."

...

It was 12:45 and [Name] was sitting down at a table sipping the coffee Doshie had made her. [Name's] shift didn't start until one o'clock. She had fifteen minutes to just relax, and put away her belongings in the employee only room.

When it reached 12:58, [Name] downed her coffee and gave the cup to one of the busboys. She clocked in at 12:59 and that's when she started working.

People started to come in, mostly businessmen going into work early and needed some breakfast — or what would be considered their breakfast — before going in. She escorted them to their tables and took orders. She gave those orders to the chefs.

She stayed on her feet the whole time. Since she worked only 4 hours and 45 minutes each night, she didn't get any breaks but she didn't want any. Not a lot of people came in at this time anyways, so whenever she didn't need to serve someone that was a break in and of itself.

Once the orders were ready, she grabbed the plates full of food and dealt them out to the customers.

"Would you like anything else?" She asked a male she recognized as Sasuke's brother. Hopefully he didn't remember her.

"A glass of water please," he says kindly.

"Coming right up sir," [Name] says, rushing back to the kitchen. There was glasses of water sitting on a tray already, so [Name] picked it up and balanced it on one hand.

She hurried back to Itachi's table, setting a glass of water down next to his plate. He thanked her as she walked away, setting another glass on a different table.

Most of the customers finished their food, paid and left. More often than not, they left tips. She'd go around picking up the money, and keeping the tips to herself since that's what her boss wanted her to do. But she felt wrong keeping it all to herself, so by the end of her shift today she'd split it with the chef.

She continued doing her work. After a while, Itachi was the only one sitting at a table. Every time she'd pass he'd ask for another glass of water. By now, there was five empty glasses that sat on the table — which he wouldn't let her take until he paid.
