It was lunch time. A time to socialize with friends in the loud cafeteria, and eat questionable food. But that didn't attract [Name's] interest at all. She avoided places like that; too loud, and too many people. She preferred quiet places where she could read, like the library, or an empty classroom.

It was Neji that knew these type of things about [Name]. As creepy as it seems, Neji followed her to the library just to admire her. He couldn't help but love her. She was just his type. Such a smart, strong independent woman.

He sat at a table far away from her spot in a corner. She had a book in her lap that she never pried her eyes away from. Neji wanted to build up the courage to go talk to her, or just say hi, but he didn't want to disturb the perfect serenity that surrounded her.

He gazed at her from afar, thinking of all the ways he wanted to hold her. But then his thoughts were interrupted by none other than Naruto.

"Hey Neji! What're you doing staring at [Name] for?" the idiot asked, not knowing the meaning of quiet. Startled, Neji spins around in his seat and glares at the empty headed teen.

"Sh-Shut up. Don't say that stuff out loud. A-And I was n-not staring at her," he protests but Naruto caught on.

"Right, right. You weren't staring at her. So, what were you doing? Admiring the wall?" The little idiot grinned, his eyes holding a playful glint.

"Naruto. I'm going to kill you someday."

...

Commotion on the other side of the library caught [Name's] eye. What she saw was Neji angrily yelling at Naruto, and Naruto laughing it off as if it were nothing.

"Could they be any louder? Where's the librarian to quiet them down?" She grumbles, standing up from her spot to confront them.

She walks over to where they were and says, "You're really loud, could you quiet down?"

She notices Neji shuts up immediately and looks away from her as if he was embarrassed or scared to say anything. But Naruto continues laughing. [Name] was a patient person, so she waited for his laughter to die down before she says, "Naruto, go somewhere else. You're too loud to be in here."

"Eh?! But I was getting a book," he says. She rolls her eyes, thinking that ignorance must be bliss.

"Well hurry and get your book and be on your way. You're really annoying. Please leave."

"Ugh! Fine," Naruto mumbles. But his frown quickly turns upside down once he glances at Neji. "See ya later Neji~"

He walks away from the two, venturing deeper into the library.

"I-I'm sorry for being so loud," Neji says, finally finding the nerve to talk to [Name]. His heart was pounding against his ribcage, and he could feel the heat rise to his face.

[Name] doesn't even give him a second glance before walking away. Once farther away, Neji takes a breath. A breath of relief in fact. He slumps back in his chair, thinking how stupid could he be. He wanted to smack his head against the table again and again until he loses consciousness. Anything would be better than being alive right now, according to him.

He wondered why he couldn't keep his cool around her, wondered why he always acts like some sort of dummy, and why couldn't he ever say a damn word to her without hesitating or stuttering.

"I completely embarrassed myself," he says to himself and allowing his head to firmly hit the table. "I'm an idiot."

...

Gym was right after lunch. Which was great because one could eat and then burn the calories right off, especially with Gai as your P.E teacher. [Name] arrived on time as usual, with Sasuke and his fangirls trailing right after.

"Another class with you, eh?" [Name] says, crossing her arms over her chest. Sasuke smirks, and shrugs his shoulders.

"I guess so."

The gym filled with people and once the bell rang, Gai took attendance. The students stood awkwardly in groups, waiting for their names to be called so they could verbally announce that they're present.

"Sasuke Uchiha!" Gai called out.

"Here."

"Neji Hyuga!"

"Present."

"Naruto Uzumaki!"

"Right here old man!"

"Tenten!"

"Ready to rock, sir!"

"[Name] [Last Name]!"

"Hello, Mr. Gai."

The teacher smiled at the girl, but continued on with the attendance. After he finished, Gai looked around at his students and grinned.

"Well isn't this a youthful group of students!" He said, and one of his students cheered, it was Rock Lee to be honest. "What would you all like to do first?"

"Nothing," one student said.

"Run 50 laps," the voice everyone recognized as Rock Lee said earnestly.

"How about a game?" Another student said.

"Dodge ball!"

"Basketball!"

"Capture the flag!"

One by one students began to yell out games. The only quiet ones were [Name], Sasuke and Neji. The trio didn't care what they played, as long as it wasn't anything Rock Lee had said.

"Did I hear running fifty laps?" Gai questions with a giant grin on his face. The classroom groaned in displeasure. "What? You don't want to do that?"

"No!!" Answered the class in unison. Gai sighs dramatically.

"Bunch of lazy kids," he muttered under his breath. "Fine! Then basketball it is!"

Some of the class cheered, happy that they got out of running fifty laps. The other part of the class groaned, unsatisfied that they still had to preform some sort of physical activity.

"This'll be fun," grumbled Neji, looking around at his classmates. It was then that he noticed [Name], and smiled. "Maybe it won't be that bad."
