In My Eyes (Dan X reader)

Chapter 22 ~ Scary Games and Cereal Snatchers

I open my eyes to screaming in the kitchen.

"HA! CAUGHT YOU, YOU SNEAKY LITTLE SH*T!" Dan yells.

"No! DONT CAPTURE MY SHAME!" Phil yells in response. Then I hear two pairs of feet running towards Dan's room.

"DONT YOU DARE POST THAT DANIEL!" Phil laughs, pounding on Dan's door. Then I get a Twitter notification from my phone on the floor.

Its a picture of Phil stealing Dan's cereal with a caption saying that Dan finally succeeded in catching Phil. I take this opportunity to get my own share of the box.

After making a bowl and eating for a bit I walk up to where Phil was waiting outside Dan's door.

"Oh hey (Y/N)!" Phil smiles, waiting for Dan to exit to get his revenge.

"Dan still in there?" I ask. He nods in response.

"Good" I manage to say with a mouthful of Dan's cereal. Phil immediately bursts out laughing after he notices what I'm eating.

"Is that (Y/N)? WHAT IS SHE EATING?" a muffled voice asks from behind the door.

"Nothing" I try to say without spilling milk out of my mouth. Suddenly a door swings open and a phone camera takes a picture of me.

"I thought you were better than this" Dan says putting a hand over his heart with a fake hurt face. He then leans in really close and whispers in my ear "Mark my words (Y/L/N), I will get you for this". A smile spreads upon my face.

"Sure you will, Howell"

He shoots me a playful glare and goes into the lounge, probably into his browsing position. I left my phone in the kitchen but I hear Phil's phone as he gets up from the spot next to me.

"Dan?" I ask.

"Yup" he laughs turning his phone so I can see the see the screen.

It was a picture of me, with a mouthful of cereal and a guilty look plastered on my face.

"Welcome to the club" he laughs before going into the lounge with Dan. I decide to log on to my gaming PC and film a video.

"Hello surfers of the web!" I begin my intro. "Today we are going to be playing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" I say in a not-so-cheery tone. "I've played the rest of them so might as well play this one"

First I get jump-scared by a bunch of birds, already causing me to freak out. Then I find Mia, the protagonist's wife. She says there is a door on past this tight, eery corridor. As, I squeeze slowly through the tight space, Dan and Phil sneak up behind me and scream in my ear.

This causes me to pull a Dan and fall backwards out of my chair. But I didn't go down alone, oh no. I dragged both of their sorry *sses down with me. Now we are all on the floor laughing.

After we all calm down a bit, I shoo them out of my room after ignoring a few arguments from Phil about staying and playing this scary game with me. I finish filming, edit, then post the video, proud of the video.
