In My Eyes (Dan X reader)

Chapter 10 ~ Video Games

"(Y/N)... (Y/N) wake up" Dan mumbled sleepily as he shook me awake. 'Where am I?' I thought as I got out of the cab. 'Oh yeah my flat burnt down' I frowned and grabbed my suitcase. My only belongings. I went upstairs with the boys and I put my stuff in the guest room. I switch into my pj's (Triforce symbol patterned pants and a strappy, white tank top) and head downstairs.

"Hey!" Phil called out to me on the couch, looking up from his computer. "Dan and I are going to watch a movie. You in?" he said with a smile.

"Of course!" I smiled back. He turned on the television and selected the horror movie "The Visit". I flashed a grin at him. I LOVE horror movies!

"You're cool with horror right?" Phil inquired as I curled up into the corner of the couch.

"Duh! It's my favorite" I chuckled back at him.

After Phil left the room to get popcorn, I felt a body lay on top of mine. An arm draped over my shoulder and off of the couch. A face buried into my neck. I gently push Dan off and I lay on top of him instead, so I don't continue to get crushed. My head rests on his chest and after Phil walks in, we start the movie. We all laugh, flinch, and gasp together. Before I know it its two thirty in the morning. This doesn't bother me because being a Youtuber means I get to set my own hours, meaning I can stay up as late as I want.

I get up and retrieve my laptop from my suitcase, along with my controller. I walk back to the couch where Dan and Phil were watching Adventure Time. I plop down, my back propped up against Dan's shoulder, my feet resting on Phil's lap.

I launch Rocket League on Steam. I quickly customize my car and start a single player match. I slip in an earbud and blast music as I drive my car across the map. "MOTHERF****R!" I yell at my laptop as a car intercepted my shot at the goal. I hear Dan chuckle and Phil just stares at me, smiling. "Sorry" I mumble as I take another shot on the goal, making it this time. A few minutes later, Phil leaves for bed, leaving Dan and I alone.

Dan wraps his arms around me mid-round. I groan slightly at his touch knowing I can't play in these conditions. "What am I... Distracting you?" He whispered seductively in my ear. He grabs the controller out of my hands and starts playing MY game. I turn around, straddling him on his lap, and start making out with him. As he falls into the kiss, I take the controller out of his hands, then pull away with a smile creeping up on my lips. I chuckle as I turn back to my laptop.

"Wowwww" Dan sighs smiling. "If you're going to play video games, can we at least play one together?" he questioned, then planted a kiss on my cheek.

"Fine!" I groaned with a smile.

"Smash Bros. or Mario Kart?" He asked

"Either one you're f**ked" I replied. He smirked at me, then winked.

"You know what I meant" I snapped at him, blushing. "Smash Bros." I said quickly changing the subject. I selected Zero Suit Samus and Dan picked his Mii. I picked the Battlefield map and the round began.

I started off strong, taking minimal damage and managing to knock out Dan's Mii.

"F*ck!" he cried out on the couch next to me.

"What? Thought you were better than me?" I asked sarcastically. To this he pulled me on his lap pulling me in for a kiss. I opened my eyes mid-kiss to find him still playing the game, now we were tied. I grabbed my controller and started playing again. "F*ck you" I laughed at him. The round ended with yours truly as the winner.

"Sh*t I thought my strategy would work" he said with a smirk.

"Sorry" I said with a yawn. "I'm gonna get on Tumblr then go to bed" after a short plead from Dan to stay with him, to which I ignored, I pecked him on the lips and retreated to my room. A bit of browsing on my youtube's tag, I put earbud's in blasting "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" by Panic! At The Disco (video above) and fell asleep.
