How I met Sting

We were on the train ride to Crocus to be in the GMG. Laxus and Gajeel were dying by the windows while Mira and I were playing slapjack. Heres a little secret if you thought mira was all nice and pretty, a angel sent from above that wouldn't even hurt a fly...YOU'RE WRONG! She is a cold monstrous being when it comes to a challenge.

We got off the train and everyone parted ways promising to be back at the hotel before midnight. While I was walking around in the town I saw a familiar scarlet haired female.

"Yo Erza!" I said running up to her " so where are you going?" I asked her

"To a bakery, my quest to find the best strawberry cake doesn't end just because I'm fighting for my guild." she proclaimed.

"Mind if I come with you?"

"Nope"

We entered a beautiful bakery that had many people inside, mages and muggles alike.

"Hello may I have a strawberry cake?" Erza said to the baker while giving him money. He gave her a pretty little box that MuMu took a intrest in so she jumped to Erza's sholder and started to sniff.

"And what may I get you little girl" said the baker

"Large Baguette!" I shouted. Erza faced palmed, the baker was stunned, and everyone inside was confused.

As we were leaving the bakery I caught a glimpse of a blonde who was looking directly towards me and as I exited I saw him smirk and then he took a sip of his coffee.

Stings POV
"That girl smells nice" I said out loud

"Then does that mean..." asked Rouge

"I guess so" I smirked

-Later in the day in (Y/N) POV-

"They're the cornerstone of Fiore's strongest guild" I heared from a distance.

"Strongest guild? Cornerstone! I need to get me some of this" I said as I started running into the crowed of people.

"Acnologia...You're the dragon slayer who couldn't slay a dragon, right?" I heared and froze I lifted my head and I saw the man from the bakery.

"Dang smirking coffee man then I guess if you speak so lowly to Natsu here, if Acnologia just happened to come here right this second you would be able to to take him down with one punch." I pondered.

"Well if it isn't Baguette girl, of course I could"

"That's easy for you to say when you haven't even seen him," Lucy retorted.

"It isn't the matter of seeing him or not, the difference is the aptitude as dragon slayers" Sting exclaimed.

{insert long speech from Lector taking about Dragon generations and about them killing dragons since author is too lazy to write that.}

-After the little argument-

I started to walk back to the hotel when MuMu started to sniff around.

"MuMu whats up?"

"I smell something near the ally way up ahead do you want to go check it out"

"Sure" we started walking towards the ally and I heard quiet sniffles, as I looked closer I realized it was the frog exceed from earlier, if I remember correctly his name was frosting?

"Hey frosting, what are you doing all alone" I bent down to his level.

"I lost Rouge" he started to cry a bit more.

"You'll be fine I'll help you find him" as soon as I said that he jumped into my arms and we started to walk to where sabertooth was staying. We almost got there but I bumped into something that felt like a back. Curse my short height! The figure turned around and it was the blonde from earlier.

"Smirking coffee man! Perfect timing have you seen your side kick you know the one that looks like an emo"

"Do you mean Rouge and I have a name you know Sting S T I N G Sting! Hey you found frosch... or did you steal him because you were mad at us for winning the argument earlier?"

"You didn't win anything Mr. Sting S T I N G Sting and I found him by the ally way, now may you answer where you're emo sidekick Rouge is so I can return his friend?"

"I can take him back to him"

"No" I quickly said

"Excuse me?"

"Oli said if you ever have to present someone with a message or a package you must do so in front of the person it is for, no exceptions, even you"

It started with a chuckle and then a full out laugh coming from Sting.

"Here I'll take you to him" he started to walk.

"Thank you!" and I followed behind

We walked for a little bit and I could tell he was following his smell, I know dragon slayers have a strong nose but I don't see how they can't seem to track their missing exceeds. We got near a jewelry stand and I saw Rouge in a panic so I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder.

"You're the..." he stopped and looked to what I was holding.

"I found frosting a couple blocks away if you're wondering how I have him right now." He took frosting from my hands.

"Thank you but his name is frosch" he said sweet dropping.

"Same difference, but if you'll excuse me I have a window to go jump through now." I said right before I bolted to the hotel.

-At the hotel-

I ever so quietly opened the window and jumped into a dark room and when I finally thought I was safe, the lights turned on and I saw a very angry pikachu standing before me.

"Do you know what the time is right now?" he said is a fake calm irritated tone.

" 240 seconds before the clock hits midnight and Cinderella has to run out of the ball and make it home..." I muttered. Just before he was about to give me a long speech the earth started to shake and the hotel was being lifted into the air. The pumpkin man told us that it was the preliminary round and we have to be one of the first 8 teams to make it into the games. Team B all left to go fight for there spot while I'm just grateful for not being electrocuted today.
