That's Her!

Justine's POV 

"Ba't ang tahi-tahimik mo?", tanong ni Av when she noticed that I'm not paying attention to what they're talking about.

"Nothing. I just-- nothing."

She eyed me suspiciously. Hindi naman ako nabother sa ginawa niya. Mas nakakabother pa nga yung babae sa kabilang table kanina pa. We are here at the cafeteria. Just the three of us. Originally it was me, Av, and Sam. Though iba ang kurso ng lokaret kong best friend nasisiksik niya ang ang makasabay samin ni Sam sa schedule niya. Ngayon si Mich na ang kasama namin. We try to keep our friendship as closed to us as possible para naman walang makaalam sa totoong pagkatao ni Mich. Gosh! Her tongue couldn't really be tamed.

She says what she thinks about.
Ganun siya ka-blunt.

At kinakabahan ako para sa kanya. Para sakin din. Did I mention she got into a catfight yesterday? Magkasama pa kami nang mangyari yun. Ayaw niyang  paawat, pulos kalmot na nga ako eh. Just look at my cheeks!

Speaking of the she-devil, the reason of my bothersome in the first place... I present to you Vika. The girl who ALMOST got my virginity away from me.

"Hi Avery! Hi cutie.. I didn't get the chance to know your name. You are... ?", greeted Av and flirted with me as she and her gang moved to our table.

" Justine..", I said.

"Av, you haven't told me that you have a friend like this...", she told Av. Is it just me or hindi niya talaga balak pansinin si Mich? She didn't even acknowledge her presence.

" Like what exactly?"

"Hmm, ", and I swear it really sounded like a moan. "... like a sweet special cherry topping on top of a cake.", she said before picking up the cherry from my plate and slowly putting it into her mouth nasama pa nga yung dalawang daliri niya sa pagsubo niya nito. She made sure na mag-finger bite muna before saying " Tasty", and ending it with a wink.
Oh-my-gee. Buti na lang di ko isinuko sa kanya ang bataan! Fuckgirl pala ang ate niyo!

"Was that--? You two--?", Av was clearly confused. " were you guys hooking-up in secret or something? Jus, ba't di ko to alam?"

"Ba't kailangan mo naman malaman eh in secret nga. Wag tanga!", Oh gosh, life-saver ka talaga dollie. May pagka naman kasi tong si Av. I've been throwing one-liner kay Vika but here she is, conversing with statements that are very potent to prolong the unwanted convo.

Tila napahiya naman si Av at yumuko.

" Oooh, under.", kantyaw ni kuya.

And yes, that's the bomber. Friendship si Vika at si Kuya. Ngayon ko lang din nalaman. Well simula nung sinulot ni kuya ang ex ko, nungka na akong naging interisadong malaman ang mga bagay na ginagawa niya sa buhay niya. I sounded bitter eh? Well it continued but now, that's not the reason anymore. Mom and Dad favored him, in fact natuwa pa nga sila sa ginawa niya. They can't just accept the fact that I'm gay. So I moved out, and got free from tolerating the abominable sight of my so-called brother and ever-equally-treating parents, please note the sarcasm on the last thought.

"He he he...", I awkwardly laughed.

" By the way sis. Mom and Dad wanted to see you badly. This Saturday, sa bahay. You need to come, it's a mandate you know. Dad will kill the both of us kung hindi ka na naman magpakita. You can bring them if you want, I'll bring my friends as well."

"I don't understand. Why bring them?"

"You'll see.", he smirked.

At kinabahan na naman ako dun. He always got something up on his sleeves, something devilish I may add. I bet, kilala naman talaga na ako ng Vika na'to it's just that we never got the chance to talk. Inuna niya pa kasi makipagkalmutan kay Mich kahapon. Good thing by the way because it's not like I wanted to have a chat with her.

" Can I come too?", pagpapapansin ng babaeng hitad. I actually like her kasi ang ganda niya. Kaso tengga rin kasi kauri siya ni kuya. Wag na from 100-0 real quick ang drama namin nito. Ayaw na ayaw ko sa mga hitad. Ang sarap sana nilang ubusin kaso, linalabag ko na nun ang esensiya ko. Tayong mga tao ang binigyan ng kapangyarihan upang alagaan ang lahat ng nilalang. Hayaan sila diyan at may balance ang biodiversity ng ecosystem.

"Hindi pwede.", lakas-loob na pagtutol ni Mich

" Sa'yo ba ako nagpapaalam?", sabay pag-arko ng kilay ni Vika

Lagot na ...

"No, but I'm her friend. May say ako sa mga desisyon niya."

"Oh really. It seemed like ikaw na mismo ang nag-decide bitch."

"How dare you call me bitch?"

"Why not? It suits you well."

At bago pa magkasabunutan ay hinila ko na si Mich papalapit sakin. Trash talk kung trash talk eh haha. Elibs din nga ako kay Mich kasi nakakapag-straight English siya.

"Hanggang dito sa hapag-kainan hitad ka!"

"Hanggang dito ba naman epal ka!"

At sumabat na ako.

"Sorry Vika pero hindi pwede eh, Hindi rin nga ako sigurado if I can make it."

"Okay lang Jus... basta wag mo lang dalhin din yang epal na yan. Istorbo talaga kahit kaylan"

I pretended na hindi ko narinig ang last line na binulong niya daw kuno.

*Kriiiiiiiiiingggg*

"The break's done. We better get going. ", at nauna na nga kaming tatlo.
