Everyone deserves a second chance,
but not for the same mistake.
(If they mess up, again and again, they're playing you.)
How could they fix their mistake?
Themselves?
They beg for your forgiveness,
tears in their eyes,
vulnerable, on their knees,
all their mistakes and weaknesses displayed for you to pick at.
They're guilty and want to redeem themselves;
they'll try everything and be the best.
They fight,
a long, uphill battle,
(but for what?)
It's up to you to forgive them,
but I think,
everyone deserves a second chance, but not a third.
