Always and forever

Chapter 13

I thought my heart stopped beating. Liam just said he loved me. Oh my god. Of all the people in the world something this good was happening to me. I was overwhelmed with surprise and happiness that i couldn't breathe. Liam said he loved me........he really said he loved me........he asked me to be his forever.......that was the cutest thing i had ever witnessed and it had happened to me......Liam had always loved me back. And l had loved him too. We just never knew it until this moment. 

"Liam....I don't know what to say. Literally. I mean i never thought that you would tell me this..",I stammered....blushing.

He lifted my chin and i saw his face. The sadness had vanished from his eyes, his face had brightened a little, but i could still see the tears. I carefully wiped them away. 

"You must be wondering what took me so long." He said with a smile.

"Yeah. What took you so long?" I said giggling.

"I was not sure if you loved me back. I didn't wanna destroy our friendship either. And Lily...she wouldn't like it."

I said," It's okay, she knows," holding his hands.

Liam brushed my cheek softly and said,"I don't love for you for what you look like. I don't just love you because you're pretty like most others." he wouldn't stop looking into my eyes,"I love you for who you are, I love your heart and i love your everything."

"You didn't by heart any of this did you?" i laughed at him.

"Yeah, i was sitting and writing all of this yesterday night." 

We both laughed.

"I love you too Liam." And i knew i was telling the truth, the right thing. Liam pulled me closer and i rested my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beating. I smiled.

"I'm sorry about Jason. But whatever bad happens let go of it. Don't think too much about it ok? Sometimes it's better to let go than hold on. No matter what happens i promise you that i'll always be there for you"

"Can you be anymore perfect?"

"You know, one day i caught myself smiling for no reason. Wanna know why?"he smiled never stopping looking at me.

"Why?" i giggled.

"I realized i was thinking of you."

I couldn't look into his eyes. I looked down. He lifted my chin up and said

"There's this girl and she kinda has my heart."

He meant me.Suddenly i felt safe from all the things in the world. I wanted to be here forever with him.

"I've never fallen in love before. And i'm happy it's you. Something bad always happens when it's going good for me, but i guess now the reverse could happen too."

"You're the prettiest and the best girl I've ever seen."

I laughed and said,"That may not be true"

"To me it is the most perfect truth Emma. I knew it from the day we met."

This was all only something that i dreamed would happen. Falling in love with the best guy in the world was something that should have never happened to me. But it happened, and it was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Suddenly everything made sense. All that i had gone through. Everything bad that happened to me led me to finding a true friend and falling in love.

Sometimes the bad things that happen in our lives put us on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us.

I learned that myself.
