Always and forever

Chapter 7

My friendship with Lily grew a lot after the dinner i had at her house. Since mom's death Lily and her family were the ones who made me happy. I had less sleepless nights, and my pillow covers gradually became less wet with my tears.

I spent the next day at her house. I got to know her more well.We talked and laughed and sang and did many wonderful things that i still remember. My friendship with Lily also brought me closer to her brother Liam.

One day i had gone to Lily's house but she was nowhere to be seen. So i decided to check for her  upstairs. I was still confused with which was her room. Thinking it was Lily's I opened the second door on the left. I got inside, but i never expected to see Liam in his towel. 

"SHIT!"We said together. 

I turned to the door covering my eyes and said " God,sorry Liam!"

Laughing he said "Haven't you heard of knocking the door?"

 And I said "Haven't you heard of locking the door?"

And we both started laughing. He sat on his bed and I started exploring his bedroom. I  was convinced that he was a die hard fan of music. His bedroom was filled with the posters of different bands, and especially my favorite one 'the beatles'.

"So you're a fan of music huh? Wait a  minute, do you sing?"

He replied, "Yeah, kinda. Music is my passion"

I noticed he had a tattoo of a music bar on his wrist. I even saw a guitar near his table.

"Can you sing me a song ? Pleeeeaaase?" I asked him making a puppy face.

"Ha. Who can say no to that cute face you make"

I started blushing. No boy  had ever told me that I was cute. He probably didn't mean it that way but it still embarrassed me.

Liam played a song. It was beautiful. He had a beautiful voice. But i had never heard it before.

"Hey, I've never heard this song before. Who wrote it?"

Smiling he said "You've never heard it before because I wrote it"

I was astonished. 

"Wow. Do you know that you are really awesome at this? You have a beautiful voice Liam! And the song is amazing!!"

"Thanks, but I don't think it is good enough"

"I believe in you"

And then he looked at me. I noticed that he had blue eyes. That moment I felt something between us. I don't know what but i definitely liked it.

Then he asked me, "So i heard you love to paint".

"Huh, Lily told you?" "Nah, I've seen you through my window. You paint good, you know that?"

I was embarrassed. He had seen me paint all the stupid stuff I did? It wasn't even good. Ugh! Now I'm gonna put the curtain and draw. 

Suddenly Lily came marching through the door.

"Emma! There you are, I looked everywhere for you. What ARE you doing here?"

"Actually, i was looking for you too. Don't even ask how I ended up getting here"

She came near me, " Sorry man, I had gone to get some food from the grocery store. C'mon let's go to my room. Sorry you had to spend time with this idiot" 

Liam stuck his tongue out at Lily and she did the same back to him. This was what I liked about those two. Even though they both were seventeen, at times, they still acted like little kids.

Laughing, I and Emma got out of his room. I glanced at Liam for one last time and he was looking at me with his two pair of beautiful blue eyes. 

Suddenly I thought I felt something in my stomach. Oh no, they were butterflies.

I knew one thing in that moment. 

I was falling. I wasn't sure it was love. But i was falling anyway, down the stairs.

When i reached the end of the stairs Lily and Liam came  down running. I heard Lily screaming my name and then calling her mom and dad. That was the last thing i knew what happened because after that everything went black.
