Chapter 15

Was i ready for my first day of school? Nope I wasn't.  Of course I got a lecture from nana about high school and all the other crap. And I made everyone swear not to tell anyone bout  mom and my history. That was the Last thing I wanted ,everyone looking at me like I I'm a long gone extinct creature who had a very emotional history. No thank you.

One thing I was happy about, lily, Liam and I went together and came back together. I had them all to myself during the time. And they weren't gonna let me go anywhere alone. Kinda got annoying later.

It was true. Sunhill west was an awesome school . Atleast it looked like it. I was damn tensed to meet the new students. I used to love meeting new people back home, I don't know what happened to me that day. The place was filled with students, small and big, every age. It looked soo crowded. Wasn't that great? First day with more than a hundred other students I didn't know. I entered the building holding lily's hand. Liam had his hand on my back.

"You ready ?" He asked.

"Nope."

"Great, now come on, let's go make a fresh start." He smiled, emphasising on 'fresh start'.

I have no idea how the school corridor held that many students. They were spread here and there so congested I stuck so hard to lily I thought she got hurt . Ugh why? Why so many students?

The worst thing is I didn't get a locker even near to lily and Liam . My locker was just near to a girl with brown hair and huge spectacles. Maybe this was good, I could make a friend on my first day.

"Oh Emma, I'm so sorry, I know I promised you that I'll never leave you alone anywhere "

"It's okay." I half smiled. Not sure if I really meant what I said.

"Hey Em, it's gonna be alright. It's just the lockers right? You've got us every other time  of the day. "Liam reassured me.

"I know guys, it's okay alright? I even  think this is good. I mean I don't wanna be a pathetic stick up who never leaves your sides. And maybe this means that I can make new friends . "

"Woah Woah, Ms Anderson ", Lily said putting on her lecture face, "first of all, you are no pathetic stick up ,you are my best friend and second of all I think it's a good idea that you make new friends, that will make our sleepovers extra nice " she said smiling.

"Yeah it would, a house full of girls all to myself. Who doesn't like that?" Liam smirked.

"Hey, Woah mister , my friends have sense to pick up a good guy and they're way out of your reach. Atleast I'll make them " lily said like Liam just told her something crazy.

"OK OK , I cant waste my precious time right now. I've gotta go meet Nick. See ya."

"Bye "we said together.

"By the way, best of luck on your first day Em !" He shouted from across the corridor.

Everyone looked at me like I'd just killed somebody.

"Shut up !"I mouthed him angrily.

He just laughed and went away. Of course he did. That asshole.

"asshole" I muttered.

Lily cracked up, "Did you just call Liam 'asshole' ?"

"Yeah I did." I couldn't control laughing after watching  lily crack up.

"That's ma girl." She said patting my back giggling.

"Stop! "Not able to control giggling,  "I don't wanna be termed 'major giggler' on my first day of school OK? "
