Checking my hair, dress and all
I looked at the mirror once more
Never expecting something at all
Just want to enjoy the night at the ball

Wearing a navy blue dress that night
With my friends, we sat at the side
Hearing the songs and all the sound
A few people started to dance

I looked around and saw a face
Where my eyes landed the first place
It’s the one I wasn’t looking for, who says
He’ll be there looking nice in every ways

Minutes passed, I got my phone in my bag
And played a game I hate so much
Wasn’t looking forward for someone to come
And asked my hand for a little dance

But that night became extraordinary
When that one guy call and ask me
To dance with him in that starry evening
With the bright rounnd moon witnessing

We danced and talked and smile at each other
Our time was filled the most with laughter
I asked him the truth I am bound to hear
He smiled and told me the thing without fear

And that’s the first time I felt this thing
Together we go back to where we were again
And that’s when I realized something, I like him
But I don’t want us to change from being friends to nothing
