"What I Want To Say"

Once I was merely just a child
Someone with many dreams
A girl who wished to walk the moon
Meet the man that rest upon it

Then I grew to become a girl
A lassie that wore a ribbon on her hair
Becoming more aware of the world
Caving me in like a pretty little doll

The world opened even wider
Letting me see the truth and lies
Letting me know what's wrong and right
As I became a lady with a delicate heart

And so I met these pretty guys
Became inspired and found a smile
Only they can offer and give to me
Together with them I'll count two three

Along with them, came these wonderful pips
They made me realize what friendship is
That it's indeed one of the wondrous gifts
One can get and many will receive

So as I escape in my most hidden lair
Seizing tomorrow, facing today
I have something I wanted to tell
So will you please lend me an ear

Gratitude I shall express to all of you
Honor it is for me to be a part of your world
Never will I forget you in my life
Because of you I am who I have become
