Hollands POV
I'm walking down a pretty shady street. My silver pointy high heels are hard to walk in these streets, so many bumps and holes. I'm looking for a back entrance to a closed restaurant.
I'm on my way to my first official date with Dylan. And of course we aren't exactly ready for the world to know we are dating yet, so Dylan fixed us up with a friend who owns a restaurant and I'm guessing he pays him a lot for making them close it for us.
My manager is walking behind me, making sure I come in okay. We find a big red door and I knock 2 times on it. I'm surprisingly calm actually, I was expecting to be really nervous, but I'm not. I guess I will be, once I see him.
I'm wearing a white skater dress with netting patterns around my neck and my hair was straightened, slick back.
One of Dylan security guys - Fred - opens the door and looks at me. He then smiles and looks at my manager as well and nods his head. I suppose they met on the set of Teen Wolf, I never really thought about it.
My manager left and Fred guided me through a dark hallway, through the kitchen and then finally into the restaurant.
The light in the restaurant is very low and powered by a lot of lighted candles. The walls are red and there is one round table decorated in gold in the centre of the room. And one lonely rose is lying on of of the the two plates there. I guess that's for me, I think. I look around to see if I can spot Dylan.
"Where is he?" I turn to Fred standing behind me.
"Right there, miss." He says and nods his head towards the other side of the room.
I can see his silhouette slowly appearing from the shadows. When he finally steps in the light, I smile. He is wearing a grey suit and a printed black and white collar shirt under it. No tie, but I loved it. It isn't too formal, but hella sexy.
"Hi, there" He smiles at me and raises his eyebrows. "You look absolutely beautiful"
"Thanks. You clean up pretty well yourself." I answer and I can't stop smiling. I'm definetely feeling the nerves now.
"Shall we?" He asks and points to the table right in front of him.
He pulls out the chair for me and I sit down while looking at him. He kisses me on the cheek and he walks over to the other side of the table, sitting down himself, facing towards me.
Dylans POV
"The rose is for you." I say and pick up the rose for her.
"Thank you. It's lovely." She takes the rose from me and smells it.
She seemed so calm and at ease. I've never really experienced Holland like this before or looked at her in this way. I already know that I'm falling in love with her, but we've been friends for 6 years, why does it feel like we're just starting to get to know each other?
We make our orders and it doesn't take long before our food arrive considering we are the only ones in here. Fred is fast asleep on his chair in the far corner of the room. We eat, talk, laugh and everything is perfect. For a while we forget about all of the drama we set together.
(Just pretend they are alone in a restaurant in this picture😂)
The only thing that mattered was us, in this big empty restaurant. We talked about memories we share, mostly from the Teen Wolf set, considering that's were most our memories are from. And the night is almost halfway over, when the the servant hands us our desserts, which is nothing simpler than ice cream and biscuit cones drizzled with chocolate.
"Mmm, this looks so good." She says and picks up her spoon ready to dig in her ice cream.
"Can't believe we both ordered ice cream" I laugh and also pick up my spoon.
"I suggested it first!" She laughs and looks at me.
I take a big spoonful of ice cream in my mouth and make a weird face, it was so cold.
"Oh my god." I mumble. "Shit, shit, shit.. aaah... brain freeze!" I squeeze my eyes shut waiting for the pain in my brain to stop. Holland laughs at me.
"Careful! You need to take smaller pieces." She chuckles.
She then takes my hand, holding it over the table and leaning in closer to my face. I intertwine my fingers with hers and I look at our hands intertwined on the table, and it feels like a perfect fit.
"Thank you for tonight, this was absolutely perfect" She says and smiles. We look at each other.
I let my thumb stroke her hand and I was a about to say something back to her, but something blinded my side eye. We both let go of each others hands to cover our faces. I can't see anything, the flash is blinding me.
"HEY!" Fred yells and starts running towards the kitchen. I can hear someone else yelling as well and it is several young girl voices. I realised I was standing up from my chair looking out.
I look at Holland and she looks confused, still sitting down. She was squinting her eyes after the flash blinding us.
"What was that?" She asks, she turns to me and we get eye contact.
"Probably fans. Excuse me." I start walking.
I hated leaving her there, but I have to see what was going on. I ran through the kitchen and the hallway and I can see the door was open in the end of the hall. I ran out the door and all I can see is Fred walking back towards me, tired and out of breath.
"Did you catch them?" I yell for him.
"I'm sorry Dylan, they were so fast out of here." He yells back.
"Did they get a picture of us?" I ask him again and I could feel my heart starting to beat and my head starting to buzz. I think I already knew the answer to this question.
"Yes, sir... they did!" He answered.
To be continued....
Oh lord. That escalated quickly.
