Dylans POV

My head hurts, feels like it's gonna blow up any minute, but seeing Holland again, made the pain go away.

She's standing by the door and waiting for me to say something.

"Holland..." I whisper.

And then she smiles and cries at the same time. She starts running towards me, jumps on the bed and grabs my face.

"Careful." I say.

"Sorry." She cries. "Can I kiss you?" She continues.

I nod and she kisses me lightly on the lips. The kiss is wet from all her tears. She pulls away and leans her forehead against mine.

(Am I crazy, or does this look like it's from a different angle than the original shot?)

"I thought you might loose your memory." She says.

"What?" I ask.

But then the doctor clears his throat as we clearly just ignored is presence.

Holland jumps off the bed. "Sorry, sir. His my fiance. You can examine him now." She says blushing and I giggle.

"No worries... So, Mr. O'Brien." He starts. I nod.

"How are you feeling?" He continues.

He leans down and blinds me with his little flashlight and checks my eyes.

"I'm feeling a little groggy, headache... uhh, weak." I say.

"Well, you're kind of a hero I understand. You saved that girl." The doctor says and smiles.

"She's okay? Shelley?" I ask.

"She just woke up, right before you." he answers.

I look at Holland, she looks down. Something is wrong.

"Whats's wrong? Holland?" I ask worried.

"She's seems to have lost her memory." The doctor says.

"Lost her memory?" I ask, confused.

"Yes, but this might just be temporarily. She was passed out surrounded by the toxic smoke longer than you." The doctor explains.

I look at Holland. She looks up at me again. I know I shouldn't feel guilty, but I do. Was I not fast enough?

"Dylan, it's not your fault. Don't have that look on your face." Holland says.

She knows me too well. "I just..." I start, the doctor interrupts me.

"Oh nonsense, it's definitely not your fault young man. You shouldn't even have done what you did, extremely dangerous, but you did... and you saved her way before the firemen could have ever done. A few minutes more in there and she would have died" The doctor reassures.
