Dylans POV

Finding everybody downstairs in front of a big breakfast table already digging in was a little offensive.

I overslept. Well, weirdly.. this is the first time I slept through the whole night and I had no nightmares. It felt good.

"Why didn't you wake me?" I yawned as I sat down with all the others and looked at Holland.

"Sorry, you looked so cute, I couldn't bare to wake you up." She answered and giggled.

I leaned in and kissed her on the lips, I could feel Shelley's judging eyes watching us.

"Good morning everyone." I said loud to the others and they all nodded while chewing on their food.

I picked up a piece of bread and smeared some peanut butter on it.

"So, what are we doing today?" Holland asked the rest of the group.

"We could go hiking." Cody suggests.

"Ugh, no. It's too cold." Crystal shrugs and makes Phoebe giggling.

"I remember." Shelley suddenly says with a very low voice and her head looking down.

Everyone turns their head and looks at her. The table becomes dead silent for a coupe seconds.

"What?" Phoebe says and grabs her hand over the table.

"Some bits and pieces." Shelley says.

"Oh my god." Crystal exclaims and puts her hand over her mouth in excitement.

"Do you want to tell us?" Holland says, I look at her.

Holland looks happy, she cares about Shelley. If only she knew what she did yesterday.

"Something with Dylan..." Shelley says and I turn to look at Shelley. My stomach knots... what now?

"Well, you and Dylan have a long history. You're his ex's best friend." Holland says.

"No, this is different." Shelley continues and finally looks up.

I wasn't sure, but something was not feeling right. I furrow my eyebrows.

I look at her intensely, waiting for her to say something. She looks at me back, with a smirk on her face.

"Well?" Phoebe says, eager.

"Uhm... just that we used to hang out I guess." She says and takes her eyes away from mine.

"Oh, that's good. I can't believe you're remembering. You must be over the moon" Crystal smiles.

"Yeah.. excuse me, I need a cigarette." Shelleys suddenly says and leaves the table.

"Oh..." Holland says and raises her eyebrows. She then looks at me. I know what she wants me to do.

"I'll talk to her." I say and put on a half smile.

"When did Shelley ever smoke?" Sprayberry asks confused and makes Phoebe laugh.

I walk over to find my winter jacket and then head over to the balcony where Shelley is smoking.

I close the door after me and walk over to her. Not saying anything. She looks at me and smiles.

"Knew you'd come running." She says.

"You didn't remember anything... did you?" I asked.

She takes a drag from her smoke and ignores my statement.

"What were you really going to say?" I ask again.

"Oh, Dylan... does it really matter? I didn't say anything." She continues, with her seducing voice she used yesterday.
