A/N: I found this short story that I wrote two and a half years ago (I don't remember why I wrote this. I know, weird.) So I decided to edit it to be an one shot JeRa fanfic.
This is only half of it. Sobrang haba kasi.

Original Title: the lady I chased after
Seven
Here I am waiting at my seat hoping for a certain girl who would come and sit next to me.
What's taking her too long? I thought
It didn't took long that the classes were soon over yet she didn't showed up to date. I simply sighed as my Dad picks me up from his work. I must have felt so disappointed that he asked what's wrong with me.
With my head looking outside our car's window I simply said 'school was just a little tiring.'
To which he replied "You didn't saw her today right?"
"Who?" I coldly replied.
"The girl you like."
In shock I immediately looked at him driving. His lips curved up, lining a mischievous smile.
"Wha-What are you talking about?" I said flustered
"Well she looks pretty though" he said
"Yo-You think so?" shyly I lowered my head a bit
"And I heard she's smart too." Dad added and I beamed
"She is! She's actually first in our grade." I told Dad proudly. "She's really kind, and she's friendly, and she has these big beautiful eyes. And the best part is she loves eating shrimps too!"
"Good to hear. I bet that's why you like her." my Dad said with a smile
I nodded. "I want to make her my girlfriend, Dad."
My Dad chuckles and said "Do you know what a girlfriend is?"
"Yes." I firmly said "Thomas told me it's a girl you really like and want to be with all the time."
"So that's what he told you, huh?"
I nodded. "He also said you could kiss your girlfriend. So is Mom your girlfriend, Dad?"
My Dad laughed out loud before he glanced at me with a smile on his face. "In that aspect, yes. But you should know, your Mom is my wife. And she is different from a girlfriend."
I want ask Dad more questions but I decided not to as I have to get off the car. Dad turned off the engine when he parked on the garage and we entered our house.
