It's a normal day for Riri at the bar, customers increasing as the night grew late with faint sounds of conversations and more alcohol being served.
Wiping a glass to be free of water, a hand taps Riri by the shoulder taking her attention away from the task at hand. She turned her head to see Kevin standing next to her.
"Ri, may nagpapaabot." Kevin said as he hands out a calling card to her.
Riri frowns at Kevin and continued her work. "Kevin, ilang beses ko ba sasabihin na di nga ako interesado sa ganyan."
"This one's different kaya tingnan mo muna bago ka umayaw." Kevin said as he points out a familiar woman at the end of the counter. "Yiee, kilig." Kevin teased her and she nudged him in return.
Riri put away the glass she was holding and walked infront of the woman Kevin pointed out.
"What should I get you ma'm?" Riri asked with a sly grin
The woman put a hand under her chin before she cautiously looked around.
"Isang ganun." the woman said and pointed out to a man drinking brandy three stools away from her.
"First time mo ba?" Riri asked courteously, leaning in the counter to close the distance between her and the woman. "We do serve less alcoholic drinks here."
"Shouldn't you be taking drinks not asking a bunch of stuff?" the woman said with attitude. "Oh well, ikaw na lang yung order ko pwede ba yun?"
Riri fought off the urge to smile "I don't pick up girls. And I have girlfriend, whom I love very much."
"Hmm. I bet she wouldn't mind naman na hiramin ka saglit." the woman said seductively as her hand found its way to her cheek, caressing it.
"She would. Selosa yun e." Riri said and removed the woman's hand on her cheek. She then gathered a bunch of ingredients and mixed it.
"Talaga lang ha?" the woman said with an offended tone as she perked an eyebrow up.
"Oo. Super clingy pa." Riri chuckled as she replied and gave the woman a light drink she mixed.
"I didn't--" the woman was cut off as Riri spoke
"It's on me." Riri said and winked at the woman.
"Are you getting me drunk?" the woman said, grazing over the tip of the glass
"What if I do?" Riri said with a sly smile. She leaned in again, so she could reach the woman's hand then gently moved it close to her lips to give a peck at the back of her hand. "You wouldn't mind, right?"
"Not to burst your bubble lovebirds pero trabaho muna bago landi." Kevin said as he stood beside Riri with an unamused look.
"Party pooper." Riri said as she stood back up straight with a smile.
"Okay lang naman mag-ganyan kayo pero wag dito. Nakakasakit kaya kayo ng puso ng mga single." Kevin said emphasizing it by pointing at himself, thus causing for the two of them to laugh out loud.
"Don't worry, Kev. I'll ask one of my female friends. Maybe you guys could go hang-out and such." the woman said as she folded her arms, placing it to the counter.
