"You can do something to direct them away from you, right?" I asked and Noss fidgeted.

"Well I can certainly try. It will take the effort of many to bring this spy down. I'm sure the government is already involved and constructing various plans at the moment." He said as he took out the transparent phone he always carried around, the one from his planet.

"Are you going to give a call to your planet or something?" I asked and he nodded.

"I need to be informed about the activities happening out there." He said as he madena circle on the screen which displayed "President" and I assumed that was the President of his planet.

I left him alone to talk and looked around. This place was neater than my room had ever been. I never really got the opportunity to explore the spaceship so I took my chance.

As I touched the walls, which felt like the leather or covering in sofas, I felt something hard next to it. I tapped on the wall again and there was the hard surface in the wall compared to the soft feel of the rest of the wall.

I tried to find a way to get through the wall to whatever was inside it. Maybe it was supposed to be there but everything necessary for the spaceship was already in plain sight.

"Is something wrong Miss Maddie?" Noss said as he approached me and I frowned.

"First tell me how the call went." I said and Noss sighed in frustration.

"Not the best certainly. The whole planet is discussing this developing issue. I didn't think it was possible for any human being to penetrate our shield system completely. We know that this is a person and he or she is nearby. The government is still investigating." He said and I just noticed how tired Noss looked. So much had happened in one day; I almost died along with Noss then found out Ryan wasn't who he claimed to be then complications with Diana.

"So what happened here?" Noss asked and I decided against it. We've both had enough for one day.

"Nothing just the wall is nice. I want you to get some rest Noss." I said as I patted his shoulder and he looked up, surprised by my touch again.

"I have to keep updated with the reports of the spy Miss Maddie-"

"I know but you can't do your job properly if you keep stressing like this. C'mon go to bed." I said as I dragged him to the bed and he gave a weak smile before sitting on the bed.

"Lie down dude." I ordered and he looked at me questioningly.

"Dude?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"That's just slang. Just go to sleep and then you can be more useful to your planet and hopefully figure out who knows about your existence. Good night and sweet dreams." I said and smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Be careful, Miss Maddie." He said and gave a small smile back and pressed a button on his transparent phone which opened the door of the spaceship. I said thanks and gave him one last smile before going outside and towards home. I couldn't help but wonder what was inside that wall.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of something burning and immediately sat up. It kind of smelled like burnt pancakes.

"What the hell..." I said as I quickly made my way downstairs and was greeted with dads smoke covered face as he tried his best to scratch out the remnants of the burnt pancake. I sighed but gave a small smile.

"Well hey Dad." I said and made my way toward him. He smiled sheepishly as I slowly took the pan away from him and dropped it in the sink and filled it with cold water.

"Sorry I wanted to surprise you." He said as he sighed and sat down on one of the chairs near the kitchen table. I smiled.

"Oh, you surprised me alright." I said as I left the pan to soak and put some waffles in the toaster. "How was the trip?" I asked and wished that Noss was well out of sight or at least took precautions and made his spaceship invisible or something of the sort.

"It was fine, the factory is building at a good speed and I think it'll be up and running in a few months and honey, my cooking skills aren't the only surprise today. We might have to move." Dad said and suddenly my head snapped up and I gave him a confused look.

"Do we have to?" I asked him. If we had to move then I wouldn't see Noss but then Noss is going away in three months but with all the recent complications and threats, it might even be three days.

"It'll be better for us honey and I wanna keep a close eye on my factory there..." He trailed off and I was confused before I realized he was talking about going to the new factory in England.

"Dad no way. We can't just leave, I have N--Diana here and...and..." I realized I had a small group of people here but it'll be non-existent in England.

"And? There's not many people you talk to here and you love planes and even wanted to be a traveler. With your grades, you could go to this great private school and we'll be living very close to the iconic Big Ben. You always said the house gave you the creeps so let's do it." Dad finished and took out the waffles from the toaster which I had completely forgotten about because this was too much to handle at once.

"But dad, I still have other people within this country." I said. I  didn't really know what to say without bringing Noss into my reasoning. He might need help from me to not get caught and it was first time on Earth. If someone found him, they would definitely  call the police but then again he was prepared, he had the equipment and all and knew the modern ways and looked like a human except the eyes.

"I know but I want you to get a new start. I talked to your mom this morning and she agrees with me. You never talk to anyone and barely contact your friends from the  city anymore--"

"I text them occasionally." I  said even though the last time I texted one of them was months ago.

"I don't believe that for a second. You'll meet more people there. We need a new scenery." Dad said and I sighed.

"But all your factories are here dad." I  argued and he nodded.

"I know. That's why I hired supervisors that I know will be up for the task. The England factory needs a lot of looking after since its new and I have to alter some products which takes months and I don't wanna leave you alone for that long." He said and I realized he probably had everything planned and started building the factory way before he said he did and the trip was probably to look for a place to live.

"Can I have some time to think about it?" I asked him and he sighed.

"We'll be leaving in a week but if you really don't want to go then you have to live with your mom." Dad said but he full well knew that was a bad option. Moms place in Canada was quiet and as much as I liked her, I had met her boyfriend and he was a complete asshole to both me and dad. I weighed the pros and cons. Pros would be I would live close to New York and could visit occasionally. Cons would be living with my mom, who I haven't seen in a year or e-mailed, and asshole boyfriend of hers for most of my life in cold Canada.

"Okay, just give me a day?" I asked and he nodded and patted my shoulder then made his way upstairs.

I went up to my room shortly afterwards and went back to my previous  thoughts about how Noss was well prepared for his environment and probably knew better than me and I still liked traveling and planes very much and had nothing much to lose except for an alien friend which is very exciting but with his advanced technology, maybe Noss could visit sometime. I haven't visited any country other than Canada and maybe it was time to explore.

"Please don't tell me you will do such a thing." Someone from behind me said and I jumped and I turned to see Noss resting in front of my window, a look of sadness on his face and I bit my lips.

"I don't have a choice."
