"That'll be $78.42" a cashier asked for.
I handed him the money, and took my groceries.

I drove back to Sean and I's house. He's been distant lately. I can't even remember the last time we spent actual time together.

I can't complain too much, I've been busy as well with my job. It sorta distracts me from being lonely..

I walk in with a bunch of bags of groceries. Too heavy.

"Sean!! Can you help me with the groceries!! Please!?" I yell, setting them on the floor. There's still more.

"Sean!?" I call out again.

"What!?" Sean yelled sounding frustrated, poking his down the hallway.

"Can you help me with these bags please?" I ask.

Sean scoffs, "fine".

Bitchy much?

"Thank you," I grab four bags and walk into the kitchen.

Sean rushed them in, and left me once again.

I scoff, "I guess it's just me again.." I grab some wine and a glass.

Why not? Nothing else to do.

~three full glasses of wine later~

"Sean~! *hiccup*" I hiccuped.

"What is it Y/N... How many glasses have you had?"

"I think three or four.. *hiccup*" I giggle.

"Okay Y/N, I think you've had enough.." Sean takes the wine away. I whine.

"You always ruin the fun," I sniffle. Tears threatened to fall.

"Baby?" He sits beside me, "what's the matter?"

"Why do you hate me?" I ask.

Silence for a few moments.

"Why would you think I hate you? I love you!" Sean held on to me tighter.

"I don't believe you! You always avoid me! You can't do it forever! We sleep and live under the same roof!!" Tears fell.

"I don't mean to! I just have things to do! You never told me!" Sean started to slightly raise his voice.

"Well now I did!" I stood up, still tipsy. I had to hold onto the wall, "do you know how lonely I've been?! All because of you!!" I sniffled.

No words from him.

"That was the first time in a fucking while you said 'I love you' to me!" I started to slowly walk to our room.

"I don't want you to sleep with me tonight... I'll leave you a blanket and a pillow." I muttered. Sean sighed, "okay, Y/N.." I can hear the hurt in his voice.

I gave him the blanket and pillow, and headed back to my room. I shut the door, lights off, under the blankets. There I silently cried for an hour.

Every night I had Sean sleep by my side. It feels unnatural. I stood up, I can feel a headache coming.

I peeked out, Sean was asleep. I sighed, I tiptoed to the kitchen, for some pills and water.

*sniffle*

"Sean..?" I whispered.

"*sniffle* yeah..?" Sean muttered.

"I can't sleep without by me.." I muttered, standing by the couch.

"I can't either, baby. Can I come back to our room?" Sean held my hand.

"Of course, babe." I smiled.

His arms draped over my waist, happily smiling.

Soon, we both fell asleep, in each other's arms.
