"It's so c-c-cold." I shiver stepping out into the icy winds of London.

"This is their summer." My mom giggled.

"Noooo! this is not California weather!" I whined getting into the cab still shivering.

We drive almost an hour and a half away from the air port before we pull into a tiny neighborhood.

We drive past several houses, one that was blaring music. And of coarse, right next to it, we pull in.

"This is it." My mom smiles.

"Next to rowdy neighbors?" I chuckle.

"Their nice boys who enjoy loud.... loud.... very loud... music." She laughs. "I've met them. Very kind young men."

My mom flew over here a couple of days after the divorce papers were signed, bought this house, and apparently met our neighbors.

"I think I'll ask you to ask them to help us move in." She smirked.

"Oh no! you've met them and you know how I get." I say getting out of the car.

"Fine if you must make ME do it." She says overly dramatically.

"Yes I must!" I say dramatically.

My mom scampers across the wet grass and knocks on the door. She begins talking when the door is answered and points over to me. A boy with bright turquoise, fluffy hair sticks his head out and smiles with a wave.

I wave back politely and lean against the car awkwardly. He looks back at my mom nods and shuts the door. My mom comes back and smiles.

"Their on their way over." She smiles.

"Great." I say and smile. It's not exactly a real smile, but it's not fake. When I meet people I get really nervous and quiet.. and awkward..... and just flat out weird.

We start unpacking ourselves and I choose a room before they come over.

"Hi I'm Jason." Says the one with turquoise hair. He's wearing a galaxy T-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black vans.

"Carrie." I state simply.

"I'm Christian." Christian has creamy white skin and black hair and dark brown eyes. He's wearing a wolf T-shirt, black skinny, and blue converse.

"Hi." I say shaking his hand.

"Patty." I'm met with pale, gray blue eyes. He has light brown hair and swishy fringe. He's wearing a dark red beenie, a My Chemical Romance T-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black vans.

"Hey." I Smile. These are all very attractive boys.

"Okay. We're going to unload the van and I'll tell you guys where to put stuff." My mom instructed.

The four of us and 3 movers we hired went to the truck picking up many different things.

I would try to be a useful human and lift up heavy boxes but Patty would always say, "Oh, let me get that." And take it.

He's sweet.

When all the furniture was in place all we had to do is unpack the boxes. When everyone left, I went upstairs and started to unload my stuff.

I opened the curtains to the window and right next to me was Patty. Standing in, I guess, his room. He looked over and saw me and began to wave excitedly with a big smile.

I smile and wave back.

I pull out my phone and plug it up on my iPhone deck. I'm Only Human By Christina Perrie echoed through my new room.
