"So he's just a friend?" my grandma asks sitting on the plane.
My mom is asleep and we've almost landed. Don't ask me how we got my grandma into a seat, it was difficult. Trust me!
I look over at her. "Yes! well. Yes." I say.
"Mmhmm." She smiles.
"What do you want me to tell you?" I ask frustrated at her games.
"Tell me what happened. You were crying and even he looked choked." MiMi says.
".....We've kissed..... twice....." I hesitate.
"There now! was that so hard?" she asks.
"No. But he thinks he has feelings for me. What's that means? 'thinks' ?"
"That means he doesn't want to ruin your friendship, he's not ready for a relationship, or there is another girl." She explains.
"That last one makes me a little sick." I choke.
"Yes well, if he does like you he will forget about her." She smiles.
"Yeah." I barely whisper.
"The plane will be landing soon, please fasten your seat belts." the pilot says over the intercom.

"Where are they?" I ask getting my luggage.
The plane landed and my aunt and cousin should be picking us up soon.
"There!" my grandma says and waves.
My aunt Carmen click-clock's over to us in her work heels, Jameson fallows behind her smiling.
Me and Jameson are very close, we grew up together and he drove us to the airport. He's 20, same age I will be next Wednesday.
"Hello hello!" my aunt says wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Hey Aunt Car." I say. Aunt Car is her nickname, I couldn't say Carmen when I was younger, and it's kind of a joke now cause she's a car sales woman.
"How are you dear?" she asks smiling sweetly.
"I'm doing alright. it's been ruff."
"I know. we'll get through this." She says before walking over I my mother.
"Hey Care." Jameson says.
"James." I wrap my arms around his neck and squeeze tight.
"Wow. I dropped you off here only last week." He says looking at me.
"Yeah. Things happened." I say my smile slowly fading.
"Hey, me and mom brought different cars, me and you are going to get some flowers." He says gently. I nod. "Mom we're going to go ahead and leave." He shouts.
Aunt Carmen nods and goes back to talking to my mom. Me and James walk out into the parking lot.
I throw my luggage in the back of the truck and run up to shotgun.
We drive out of the parking lot and I turn on the radio. I flip through stations until I find a song I like, Cheap Sunglasses by RUC.
I tap my feet and we drive in mostly silence. When we get to the flower shop, James tells the guys at the front desk his name.
The guy laughs. "Someone's in trouble." He laughs.
"You've got to be kidding me. " I murmur. My eyes wide but eye brows furrowed.
