After a almost twenty four hour flight we finally arrive back in England safe and sound. Kinda.

Patty got sick on both plane rides and I'm pretty sure he got food poisoning. It was not fun for him.

Me and Patty stand at the baggage claim waiting for a suitcases. When they finally come into our line of vision we take them and step to the side.

"When's Jason and the others... coming." I mumble as Patty coughs uncontrollably.

"Uh," He hums coughing again, and looking at him phone, "they should be here."

"Hey, let my feel you forehead." I say stepping I front of him. I put the back of my hand against his brow. He's steaming! "you're a little warm." I state simply trying not to worry him.

He smiles. "You're very good at keeping people calm." He says pressing his forehead to mine.

There's a sudden squeal and I instantly whip around, only to be tackled by Luke Cutforth himself. I nearly fall over at the sudden blow.

"Please don't ever take him away again. We almost exploded the house." Luke fake cries on my shoulder.

I laugh and playfully pat his back. He laughs and continues to tackle Patty. The squeal was from Marina who greets me next.

"Hello love." She smiles trying to keep in all her excitement.

"Hi." I say hugging her tightly.

"I want a turn." Emma says. I hug her next, followed by Jason, and Karim. We all stand around in a circle in the air port.

"Patty are you aware of how awful it is when you leave the house to go on your tour or something without the rest of us?" Jason says.

"No. Why?" Patty says with a tired laugh.

"Well, I tried cooking. And-"

"Oh no." Patty mumbles acting like he has a head ache. We laugh.

"Yeah. But we got a new oven!" Karim laughs.

"That bad?!" Patty exclaims staring at Jason wide eyed. Jason just giggles with a shrug. "okay, well, Let's go home so I can stress over Sit-C, and take meds for my nose." He says with a loud sniff.

We walk to the car and pile into Luke's car and Emma's car. On the way back home we are asked all about the trip and I was quietly asked how I'm doing by Marina. I told her I was okay.

Then Patty brought up my 'sass fight' with my aunt. Making the whole car fill with 'ooh's and 'damn!'.

When arriving home, we all go over to the guys house to chill. Even though Patty will not be able to hang out very much.

When we pull up Patty says, "what is that monstrosity?"

"That's my car. We spray painted it." Jason smiles proudly. We get out and go investigate the vehicle.

As we get closer I laugh at the messily painted car.

"Oh my fucking christ! it looks like a bunch of kindergarten children throw crayons at your car." Patty chuckles stepping closer. He looks inside, "oh the inside too? are you kidding me?" he laughs.

"It looks like you've shoved a bunch of clowns inside." I laughs.

When we are done looking at Jason's rainbow car, we all go inside.

Tomorrow they leave for Summer in the City. I find Patty the medicine he needs for all the stuff that hurt on him (which was pretty much everything), and take them upstairs with a glass of water.

Patty sits at his desk tapping away at the keys on his laptop. I kiss his cheek and set the glass of water on table.

"How can I help?" I ask. "Y'know, take some of the stress off."

"Hmm." Patty hums not removing his eyes from the screen. "I don't think there's anything. You need rest though."

"Oh hell no. If there's anyone who needs sleep or rest in this house it would be you." I say quickly. Patty turns to look at me wide eyed. I raise my eye brow, challenging him.

He smirks, before breaking into laughter.

"What's so funny?" I ask.

"You're so cute." He says through laughter.

"Do you need anything?" I sigh. He calms down from his laughing fit, he lets out a long sigh.

"No. Go hang out with everyone." Patty smiles.

"Are you sure?" I ask. He nods. "Okay." I say kissing his cheek again.

I walk down stairs into the dining room where Karim and Luke are at it, playing pool, Marina watching. In case you don't know, they put a pool table in their dining room instead of an actual table.

"You cheated!" Luke shouts.

"I did not! I am just better at this than you." Karim says with a smug smile.

"Shut up." Luke says slapping him in the stomach. I laugh and walk into the kitchen where Emma and Jason are.

I sit on the island in the middle of the kitchen next to Jason.

"Ello." He smiles.

"Ello." I say back watching Emma investigate the oven. "What are you doing?" I ask with a laugh.

"I'm trying to find out how to work this over so these idiots don't nearly light the house on fire again." Emma explains. "And of coarse they threw away the instructions, so I have to figure it out on my own."

"Hey, Luke was the one who threw the instructions away." Jason points out.

"In my defense," Luke begins, walking Into the kitchen, "they were in Spanish anyway."

I turn slowly and stare at him, "you were reading the wrong side."

"Oh. Now I do feel like an idiot! thanks Carrie!" he says crossing his arms like a child.

"You're welcome." I laugh.

"Luke come help me get the thing ready, for the thing." Karim says sticking his head in the kitchen.

"Oh yeah the thing for the thing. Okay." Luke says following Karim up stairs.

I go back upstairs as well into the office where Patty was. Notice I said 'was' cause he isn't there any more.

"Patty?" I call. Nothing. I go into his room, and find him packing. "knock knock." I say quietly.

Patty looks up, flashes a quick smile, and goes back to shoving things into his suitcase. I can tell he's very stressed out, but who wouldn't be?

"Hey Patty, Carrie?" Luke says from the bottom of the stairs. "Do you have a minute?"

I look at Patty who zips up his trunk and nods.

"Yeah we'll be right down!" I shout.

Patty takes my hand a kisses my head. I smile and we go down stairs.

"Where is everybody?" I ask.

"I don't know. Let's check out back." Patty says horsely.

Sure enough, in the back yard we find everybody sitting around the fire pit as the sun sets.

"We saved some seats for two more." Jason smiles.

We take our seats around the blazing fire, and is realize that this is how everyone should live their life.

Happy.
